New DnD 4E Player, LFG (Full until further notice)

Hi, I'm looking to start playing 4E DnD. Never used Roll20 before, and I've only played 4e in a few sessions with some friends. From what I've seen I think i'll be more interested in a longer campaign/setting that isn't just killing things, and would prefer to start at level 1 (I like starting at the beginning). If anyone else is interested in joining me, or DMing, etc, let me know. Availability: Wednesday - 18:00 ~ 22:00 EST (23:00 ~ 03:00 GMT, i think) Sunday - 18:00 ~ 22:00 EST (23:00 ~ 03:00 GMT) Edit: Sundays every two weeks is so far the accepted timetable for the majority of our group. If you want to join, please be available for this time. If these are really bad times I can probably find a way to do other ones, my schedule just isn't that stable on other days beyond these. I have a bit of experience with D&D 4e IRL, Play by Post, and Roll20.

I'm willing to DM 4e for the both of you. I've been mixing up as a player and a DM in 4e for a couple years now, so I know the ruleset well. I'm looking to play every two weeks as I will be building the wiki for the campaign as we go. It's also because I'll be building many of the maps from scratch. I'll be using a homebrew setting. It'll be hosted here at this link: <a href="http://www.epicwords.com/twom" rel="nofollow">http://www.epicwords.com/twom</a> This is something that I've been wanting to do for a long while now, so I really want people that are willing to stick with it. Sundays would be absolutely perfect for me, I'd have to pass on Wednesdays. If we can get a couple more people interested, I'd like to talk more in-depth about the campaign. For now, I can say for certainty that everything that is official source material is available. I'm gifting both Improved Defenses and your choice of an Expertise feats in order to free up those precious slots for other options. I do highly recommend taking abilities for RP scenarios. Players get the standard 22-point buy. I'd ask that optimization be kept within reason, I know it's 4e and all. ~_^

I see that we now have 4. I'm going to send out a PM to each of you containing instructions on how become a registered player for the campaign site. EDIT: Forgot to mention, you may want to have an idea like Ragnarok did and have a character idea in mind before signing up, as the site will ask you to create your character before joining.

Maybe. I'll keep you on a shortlist if I don't hear back from any of the others in the next couple days. I also might need one to cover an additional role left open. We'll see how it goes. ^_^

If you don't mind I would like to join I am currently using a hengeyokai Ranger. If your wondering what a hengeyokai is an intelligent shape shifting animal(Human,animal,hybrid forms)

If I am to be playing, I would ask all of you to choose a race that is from the Players Handbooks (1,2&3) and not use home-brew races because that ruins the overall reality of the fantasy world... I dont mind what classes youchoose as long as they are from the regular books uch as the PHBs or the Forgotten Realms manual. Just makes it easier to know my teammates are not powergaming... and its more fun.

Isaac, Shifters are part of the PH3, and seem close to what you're talking about. If we fit you in, would that be a more appropriate race? I say if because I'm not sure if Tsriel plans on having a group bigger than 4; he hasn't really mentioned a group size he wants. I don't particularly mind, as long as it's not unrealistic and it fits the setting as well as player availability. Forgot about you CodeNameC! I guess I should consider you first. Also I just checked and Hengeyokai are in the Insider, but I think we're sticking to the player's handbooks in terms of races.

Yes, we have 5 now, although I've only got yourself and Ragnarok registered so far. I'm making our first game on the 27th of this month and would like to get everyone squared away and ready to game before then.

I see that you already have your five. Too bad this is my first time actually looking for a group within the forums and not in the LFG of the website of open games. Let me know if you might need a trapmonkey (scoundrel rogue) or a bow-based ranger to either flesh out the group or to fill in a spot on a roster.
