No one else seems interested in answering the trivia questions, so I'm just going to give Nick full credit (and Min 10 XP for his answer). Here are the answers: What sort of creature mysteriously disappeared from Eovan's pouch? A frog. This happened the first time the party entered Uldivai. A tiny, brightly-colored frog followed them suspiciously. Eovan picked it up and put it in his pouch; later it disappeared. This is actually one of the few questions that you couldn't look up. Which Zothian introduced Lor to the party? Inzi-Uax. Though the Zothians technically recognize no leader, Inzi-Uax is the one most comfortable with outsiders, so he tends to be the one that you talk to. He was the first to talk to the party when the lizardfolk rangers escorted them into town, the one to introduce Lor to the party, and the one to answer Malak's questions about Eovan. His name also appeared in the XP summary for "The Forbidden Palace". In what building did the party first meet Moynath Autumnsong? The Ghostly Minstrel. Moynath Autumnsong is the shoal-elf sorcerer who teleported the party to the Inverted Pyramid, at the beginning of the current series of adventures. His name appears in the XP summary for "What Would You Do For a Haversack?" and his image appears in the party's journal: The Ghostly Minstrel is the inn that the party has stayed in most recently, the one with the juggler in the common room. The party has had a large room on the second floor there since shortly after Arthas joined. It also appears in the Delver's Square Handout: What is the Yuggothian name for Yog-Shoggoth? The Beyond One. This answer appeared in the XP Summary for "The Lurker at the Threshold" What's the largest city in Southern Anestral? Baren's Haven, though I also accepted Baron's Haven. This is the city north of the broken tower, that the party passed on their way to Anestral City. It's where they encountered the first Priest of Shelyn, that sent them on the crazy Wildlands adventure. Its name appears in the XP summary for "When the Bough Breaks" Where did Keeper Crove work in Anestral City? Crove's Asylum, though I also accepted just "asylum". Keeper Crove is the one that the party is chasing now. They encountered him fleetingly in the basement of the asylum, after defeating Yog-Shothoth. He appears in the party journal: How many Keepers of Yog-Sothoth were there originally? Five. Keepers Baskerwhel and Marshan were killed by Yog-Shothoth in the Sunless Grove. The other Keepers then fled and hid: Crove in his asylum, Hyve in his abandoned church, and Myre in the warrenstone vathouse. What was the name of Arthas and Malak's cell mate? Fennis. This is the young man who was friends with Tristan, Jonas, and Justin, and was captured by the Cult of the Ebon Hand. His name appears in the XP summary for "Fall of the Ebon Hand". What cruel beast lives on Mount Oranga? Hishtag. The "cruel" appelative is a pretty big hint. The name of Mount Oranga was never actually revealed in game, but appears on the Valley Map in the party's journal: What kind of demon killed Yolotomassi? Babau. The party has encountered these sneaky fellows (possibly summoned by Banderak) three times. The most recent time, they flanked Yolo and killed him. They also appear in the party journal: Who runs the Anestral City Prison? Warden Odsen Rom. Warren Rom was responsible for Malak's incarceration, and for returning him to the party. He appears in the XP summary for "Kath Fight" How many children does Elaryan have? Three. Elaryan was a simple merchant (with two daughters and one son) before he started hearing voices on his 180th birthday. These details can be found on Elaryan's character page at http://roll20.milkbar.com/characters/Elaryan What's the name of the litorian merchant in Anestral City? Rastor. A litorian is like a minotaur, only with lion features instead of bull features. He is the premier seller of masterwork and enchanted weapons in Anestral City. Rastor's picture also appears in the Delver's Square handout, above. Who summoned the fiendish baboons that roam Uldivai? Banderak, though I gave partial credit for "Bazerak". Banderak specializes in summoning and controlling animals and fiends. He appears in the XP summary for "The Return of Ssik'Silith" and in the party journal: What kind of creature killed Elaryan? A destrachan. As Nick pointed out, several creatures have come close, including the ankhegs and Fezghul the efreet. But the destrachan was actually successful, after Elaryan failed to move out of the range of its voice attack. The destrachan can be found in the party journal: What is the name of Grundhu's people? The Derhii, though I accepted "Delhii" because that's what I initially called them! Grundhu is the flying gorilla that the party summoned in the Ape House. He appears in the XP summary for "The Ape House" and in the party's journal: Which son of Corellon Lorethian is an ancestor to Eovan and Yolotamassi? Turiel. Turiel was a hero of the Hartland War, and appears in Eovan's character bio at http://roll20.milkbar.com/characters/eovan Who currently wields the Spirit-Staff of the Lost King? Yakmar. Congratulations to Nick for remembering the the Spirit-Staff of the lost king was the Staff of Fire the party obtained in "Druid? What Druid?". The Staff appears in the XP summary for that adventure, and in the party's journal from Chapter 1: Elaryan carried the Staff for a long time, but gave it to Yakmar as an apology for breaking his door and killing the wights that Yithdul had given him as servants. Yakmar's personal specialty is elemental summoning, conjuring, and evocation, which is why he was interested in the staff. He is also responsible for summoning Fezghul (from the Plane of Fire) and the Invisible Stalkers that guard the valley (from the Plane of Air) What creatures were hiding in a room near the Sunless Grove? Dark creepers. They were enslaved by the Keepers, and fled to a barricaded room when Yog-Shothoth escaped its bonds. The party gained an XP bonus for sparing them. They appear in the XP summary for "The Lurker at the Threshold" and in the party's journal: What instrument does Rathloren play? The lute. This is mentioned in his character bio at http://roll20.milkbar.com/characters/rathloren, plus Rath carried one around in the early adventures. What building was Yolotomassi near when he jabbed a knife into his own ear? The Discordant Tower. This is the northmost tower in Uldivai, which fills the whole town with an eerie buzzing. It appears in the party's journal: What Sean C song appeared on a 2010 movie soundtrack? Balls Deep (In Your Love). It appeared on the soundtrack for The Boondock Saints II, and is regularly played as background music. In what mountain range is the Valley of Udlivai? The Grimstaag. This was mentioned in-game, and appears in the XP summary for "What Would You Do For a Haversack?" Moynath Autumnsong teleported the entire party to a mountain pass that led to the Valley of Uldivai. In what building was the Staff of Rightful Rule discovered? The Aeromantic Infandibulum, though I also accepted Arcane Infandibulum, since I have referred to it by that name. The staff was an integral party of the arcane machinery used to pilot the city, before Eovan ripped it out of its housing. As an interesting sidebar, it was also Eovan who removed the Wand of Gusts, which was used to steer Uldivai, Who does Captain Cedrick report to? Commisar Urnst. Cedrick was the party's liason in The Warrens when that district was under quarantine. The Commisar leads Anestral City's Elite Watch; he sent the heores to Cedrick when the Yog-Shothoth first strated attacking people in The Warrens. Urnst appears in the XP summary for "Mahouse Horror" In which district of Anestral City are the dead buried? The Necropolis. This is the district where the party disturbed the body of Tristan Kath, and encountered his mother, Selina, and her sister Lady Devina Kath. It appears in the XP summary for "Kath Fight" and in the party's journal: What royal family rules over Anestral? Rail. This family has ruled Anestral for 4000 years. It appears prominently in the Wold History at http://roll20.milkbar.com/world-history What is best described as "Argent, a leopard passant toward sinister in Sable; upon a chief Gules, two quills Argent"? That is the escutcheon for the Kath Family Arms, which the party first saw on Tristan's doublet. It also appears in the party journal: What is the native language of the lizardfolk? Draconic, though the Zothians also speak Common. What is the name of Frein Avathon's one true love? Tomas. Tomas was a follower of the Cult of the Ebon Hand whose Gift of Deformity was to be transformed into a minotaur. The party encountered him in the catacombs, and defeated him, but Arthas bound his wounds so that he did not die. The cult's head of security, Frein, was so grateful that she arranged for a distraction so that the party could rescue Malak and Arthas. Frein herself appears in the XP summary for "Infiltration". Tomas's name is also on the map that she drew for the party, in the journal: Where do worshipers of Ollom congregate? Taggert's. This tavern/church is named for its founder. It is the congregation point for worshipers of Ollom, God of the Keg... including Eovan. What was Shelyn's original name? Aria. It was this discovery that caused Rathloren to venture out into the world,as detailed in his character bio at http://roll20.milkbar.com/characters/rathloren Who lived in the Temple of Aroden? Keeper Hyve. The temple was his home and workplace; there was a series of tunnels under the temple where he brewed poisons. Hyve appeared in the XP summary for "The Fourth Link" and in the party's journal What was returned to its own in mother's home? The Vial of Pure Water, though I also would have accepted "the royal water". This is a reference to the poem the party encountered in the first adventure: Two miles toward the sun's first fire, the earth's embrace will still its ire. A league to the south in mother's home, the royal water is returned to its own. Southeast four miles the image flies, atop forest giant in azure skies. Lofty stone reaching higher, holds in its grasp the sacred fire. Six miles and some at forest's heart, where name and namesake no longer part. The poem can be found in the Chat History for Chapter 1, and the vial itself in the Chapter 1 journal (and in the XP summary for "Druid? What Druid?"): On which road is the Temple of Shelyn in Anestral City? Emerald Way. This was a hard one, because it couldn't be found in the XP summaries, and required remembering what section of the Temple District map several of the adventures took place on. The map itself is found in the party's journal: How many halflings live in the Valley of Uldivai? One. The rest of Lor's people were wiped out by Ssik'Silith. What did Moynath Autumnsong give the party? A feather token (bird). As detailed earlier, Moynath was the sorcerer that introduced the party to the valley of Uldivai. He gave Eovan a token that can send a brief message to the Inverted Pyramid once their quest is complete. What was Tristan's Gift? Cloven hooves. The Cult of the Ebon Hand refers to the defomrties that each follower is granted as their Gift. In Tristan Kath's case, that was clove hooves, as the party discovered when they exhumed his body in the Necropolis. All of this was detailed in the XP summary for "Fall of the Ebon Hand" What religious group did Galleck lead? The Ebon Hand. Father Galleck Javimal's original name was Mallek, but that was too similar to Malak, so I retconned it. Galleck appears in the summary for "Fall of the Ebon Hand" and his name is also featured in Frein's map (above). In which Anestral City district are the roads and paved with a sickly purple substance? The Warrens. This material is warrenstone, which is fashioned from the pulp of warren roaches. The vathouse where the party encountered Keeper Myre was the primary source for this material. You can make out the purplish material somewhat in the Warrens Detail in the party's journal: What sacred language do the Keepers of Yog-Shothoth speak? Aklo. Almost all of the Keepers' notes and literature is in that language, which also appears in the XP summary for "Lurker at the Threshold" What is the name of the (secret) mage's guild in Anestral City? The Inverted Pyramid. It is an actual inverted pyramid that flies invisibly over the city. What's the minimum sentence for Murder of a Citizen in Anestral City? Twenty years in prison. I gave partial credit for an answer of 31 years, because that's the total sentence that was delivered to Malak. Technically,. however, that broke down as follows: use of arcane magic: 1yr + 200gp fine assault of a citizen: mandatory 10 yr sentence murder of a citizen: mandatroy 20 yr sentence Who killed Eovan? Fezgul. An efreet summoned by Yakmar, he was meant to be minor character, but has somehow managed to become the party's nemesis. He appears in the party's journal: About how long has the war between Talism and Anestral been going on? 1800 years. This is detailed in the World History at http://roll20.milkbar.com/world-history and in the XP summary for "Druid? What Druid?" What building was the last place that the party saw Rathloren? Red Stallion Pub. Shortly before the party started showing off their magical prowess, and Malak got into the fight that ended with the detah of Tristan Kath, Rath excused himself and returned to the Temple of Shelyn on Emerald Way. By the time Elaryan returned (invisibly) to the temple, Rath was gone, leaving this note: What material is Lor's armor made of? Green dragon's hide. Lor likes to claim that is made from Ssik'Silith's head, but actually it's made from some of her scales. Her head is still firmly attached to her body. In what building the party meet Sheriff Cage? The Inn of the Hungry Gods. This is the inn where the first bar fight took place, north of Gran's Keep. It appears in the XP summary for "Druid? What Druid?" What sorcerer bloodline is the source of Malak's powers? Red Draconic, although I also accepted just "dragon". This is source of Malak's claws, and possibly his rage. Which Sorcerer-Prince of Uldivai has never controlled Ssik'Silith? Yakmar. Banderak took control of the dragon when Uldivai first crashed, and used him to destroy the valley halflings. After the lizardfolk (and Lor) killed Ssik'Silith, Yithdul animated his corpse. it was not until the party killed Yithdul that the dragon's free will was returned.
