Player's username shows up as [Deleted]

Hi. I have a player in my group whose name recently changed to [Deleted]. However, I can still assign tokens to them in-game, they still have a public profile, and they can still be PMed. I also noticed that users can change their display name to [Deleted]. So is there any way to tell the difference between an account that has been deleted, and an account that has simply changed its name to [Deleted]?
