Preparation for Session request (Scarlet Blade fortress)

It is Winter on Maladon You see Marokin busy in the area of haven, talking to various people when he has the possibility. He talks to Beldak about his contacts and asks him what he thinks about infiltrating the hideout of the blades. Whether it would be the easiest to get them to recruit oneself or not. He walks to Cain whistling a familiar tune, inquiring about the preparations on the head on assault on the blades and when he thinks it is most likely to happen and what their chances might be? You see him even in the vale, whispering to Syvil in the Empire might having lost some important information to the Blades and considering this stance it might give him leverage on it.  He argues with Meren in the forest about the abilities of the sword he once had showed to him and argues about various properties the spells hold when cast through it (concentration?). He also asks him to inquire about the scarlet blade hideout and what his friend might know about it. And rarely he can be seen sending messages to House Donau. Trivial notes with a faint odour to them.  The Tiefling seems to be plotting something. He still meets up with Sharleen making sure to keep a supply of Skullbuster around, with the best of regards by Adolpho.  Rarely is he passing the Burrow, still not sure what to make of this whole story about Mindartihs and Erolith, thinking to himself it is best not to know more about it and pretend to understand what this Elf has told him. He talks to Ffiona and listens, should they wish to tell him something. But the apparent goal of Mindarthis seems to be far further stretched than any plan he himself has. This goes on for a few weeks, a month, and perhaps more.... OOC: I send most of the people mentioned here a PM or talked with them in Discord. The idea is to pool information and to create a plan to preferably infiltrate the Scarlet Blades hideout and retrieve some property of the empire before the iron fist does. If you all put what I send you together you have all the knowledge Marokin has about this ;)

Syvil reveals, though he refuses to tell Marokin how, that he has several Scarlet Blade tabards hidden away; all rolled up into a neat bundle. But he will not go with Marokin yet; saying that he has just begun exploring his heritage and that he wishes to first get back that piece of his soul that is apparently bound to Calinaar.
PS: that also means that suggestions for that are welcome ;p don't just look, act!! ;)

Beldak greets Marokin and hears him out.  An interesting idea, I will see what I can find out and then will try and formulate a possible plan. Whether it be a full under cover infiltration or to look into a disguise, I can't answer yet but shall set to work. What did you want once I was on the inside? To find possible attack routes and then grant entry to the stronghold?  These preparations could also take a while.   You've been very interested in the blades for some time now, what do you want?
OOC: Sneaking past rogues is a mechanically unsound idea; they tend to have expertise in Perception.
we should just join them get some items that change how we look like some magic scrolls from the white horse then marokin and i can just charm people if someone gets to close
and what does charm do again? give you advantage on persuasion throws a.s.o... suggestion is the way to go... if you can have it ;p also people that think you are hostile have advantage on their saving throws... not sure that is the way to go... if things go south: suggestion would be a good thing, charm person most likely useless... also that is why marokin hopes beldak will be on the mission... if he surprises somebody they will most likely be dead ;p
well if we are going in all sneaky sneaky its good to get information they are going to die anyway
who? the people going there? or the scarlet blades? preferably we do not have to kill anyone and noone gets killed!! that would be marokin's ultimate goal. That would be a clean deceit.  not going to happen, i fear though ;p

I will schedule this for after I get back; it will probably take a long day session and so that might be a weekend (and I am not back from France till Sat 7th now and won't have any prep time before then). Unless we can get enough of a party together to try it in the week; I might be able to manage that?
If you were about and could get enough to go on thurs or Friday that would be awesome, as would really like to go on this one and can't make the weekends :( but no worries if not, would be happy for you guys to play my character if that could work on taking him along on a weekend session, understanding it would be very dangerous!
I may have misunderstood your timetable there if you're away till the 7th :) don't actually know yet when I'm off the week after so ignore that comment :)
well i can do the weekdays this week but not friday to sunday but next week i can do the weekend
I feel sad that Reskin isn't involved in any of this... :(

why ain't he Ernie? We ain't seen much of you recently
I haven't been able to make any of the sessions saddly...
@Ernie S: I was thinking that if I write to Meren that he will tell Reskin ;) Feel your self included in the plotting... It might though that I have to leave that and bust out Syvil somehow... :o :o @Stephen: the next 3 weekends are a bit difficult for me at least during the afternoon. (This I run a session, next is gay pride, next is zinneke parade...)
In that case, I will post something tomorrow. For now, Critical Role!
