[LFP] Hero System 6E Homebrew, Weekly, TBD, evenings EST

It has been two years since the Infestation. No one knows exactly when or why it happened, but everyone knows when it was first noticed. Swiss Shop Bolveri orchestrated the first bion heist with a few of his top goons. The police were overwhelmed by their armored skin and firepower. Countless sightings of people with enhanced abilities or unusual prosthetics showed up after that. Boston was temporarily quarantined and private militias were established to keep the peace. The problem was traced to non-biological microbes (NBMs) found in their bodies. Later surveys revealed that everyone in the Greater Boston Area was infected. The NBMs were improperly dubbed “nanites” by the press. They also coined the term “bions” to describe people with active NBMs. There are a select few decide to become something more and stand up against the wrongs of both the private militias and bions that abuse their powers. I hope you will be one of those few. If that gets you excited, I am looking for two more players. This is a custom low-powered modern superhero setting using the Hero System, Sixth Edition. We’ll be playing on Saturday from 4 pm to 10 pm, EST, but we can run until midnight if everyone’s up for it. The game will be more focused on the interactions between the PCs and their environment. Combat is not the only answer and occasionally the worst answer to many of the conflicts. But it is always a viable option for the PCs to choose. In general, I recommend that players have a couple good tricks in their toolset. I have developed a few character templates to cover the ones I feel are most important. The only restrictions I have for players are that you need to be willing to learn the Hero System, your character needs to fit within the context of the setting material, and the characters need to want to work together. This means that they will all start leaning toward the ideals of heroism, but the tone is welcome to shift as things go on. A quick scan through Champions Complete is required and I recommend skimming the 6E Equipment Guide and Martial Arts. All the information can be found  here . Reply here if you’re interested.
My character's ready for the game on Saturday. I'll be playing a four-armed cyborg who has earned the name "The Roach" because he's short and nearly indestructible. Also because he can scuttle up walls. He's (sort of) willing to talk with his enemies, but he's as likely to bet that they're not going to want to. I'm looking forward to seeing how he'll get along with everyone else, and I'm really excited for the first session!
