Newbie Tabletop Player LFG to learn and play! Prefer D&D4e, but will play anything!

Hey guys, I'm completely new to tabletops RPG's, never touched them before in my life. I always wanted to, but never had the chance to play IRL. So I'm looking for some guidance and fun! I've always had a special love for D&D even though I've never played, so if there's someone out there willing to show me the ropes in 4e, I'd love to learn! But I'm also up for other RPG's as well. I'm keen to Fantasy, but also have a love for Sci-Fi, steampunk, cyberpunk, mythology, and the occult. I'm available pretty much most of the time Friday through Sunday, though I would prefer gaming in the latter stages of the night. I'm friendly and a quick learner with a deep imagination! I would love to find out why tabletops RPG's are so poular! Will you help me? ^___^
