LFP D&D BECMI/Rules Cyclopedia - Mondays @ 6pm PDT

We are looking for some additional, dedicated players to join our D&D campaign, which uses the original BECMI rules and specifically the Rules Cyclopedia. There are also a few house rules for added balance, and we strongly prefer only lawful or neutral alignments. We are running the module Horror on the Hill, and we need more players who can play every session and are ready to enjoy a fun, old school experience. Visit https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/42779/d-and-d-r... and post in the Application Thread if you are interested in joining.
I signed up for this campaign last week, and I'm definitely looking forward to some old school fun! If you started playing D&D with the Basic Rules in the 80s or 90s, or even if you are a beginning player, this could be a great way to experience the game in its simpler form. It can be challenging for characters at lower levels, but that is part of the charm. Excior has said scheduling is difficult for a couple of current players, so there is definitely room for more.

This looks really fun. The time is possibly open for me. I hesitate only because it is a time of day that I am often doing some DM prep for the game I run on another day. I grew up on 1980's D&D and started it with the Red Box Basic (Frank Mentzer), and I have the Rules Cyclopedia although I've never actually played out of that book directly (and I still have my original Red Box!). Something I like seeing on LFG forum is your player Greg's followup to the Dungeon Master's pitch. excior, I'm going to look at my future calendar and decide if I could stick with your game long-term, if I can then I'll put an application on your LFG. In any case: Happy adventuring!
