Tiles shifting alignment when rotated

And im not talking about shifting from lawful good to chaotic evil. System stats first: Operating System Microsoft Windows 7 Screen Resolution 1920 x 1080 Web Browser Chrome 29.0.1547.66 Browser Size 1920 x 955 Color Depth 32 Javascript Yes Flash Version 11.8.800 Ok, i have imported a tile that is (x,y) 50x100 pixels. when placing it on the table, it is 1x1 tile. I extend it to 1x2 and all is fine. If I turn it however, it seems to align it self to center of the grid, rather than the edges. If I extend the rotated tile to 3x1, it returns to normal alignment. Basically, if the rotated x-axis is an uneven number of tiles, all is OK, but with an even number of tiles, I get my chaotic evil alignment. Nothing is wrong if I do not rotate the object.

This is a known bug when dealing with oblong tokens. A workaround I'd recommend would be filling the image with enough transparent padding so that its dimensions are square and re-upload it to your art library. That should prevent the rotation problem until we can get that bug fixed.
OK, ill do that. However it is also a problem with some of the objects bought on the market, so im looking forward to a fix. Thanks for the quick response.

Yeah, this is why I'll often upload two of the same assets to my marketplace sets with one rotated 90 degrees but leave many of the other assets as is (unless it's something like furniture, which I don't usually expect GMs to place strictly according to the grid). If you need a quick fix, just hold down "Alt" while moving the asset, and the interface will allow you to place it anywhere regardless of the grid.  Either that, or resize the asset down/up to a shape that has both even or both odd dimensions (as you discovered those avoid the issue), as when dealing with walls two 1x1 assets next to each other work as well as one 1x2 asset.  Short of uploading a new version of the asset, those are probably the easiest fix until grid alignment gets revisited by the team.
