Put you dwarves on hold, err in a hold, no not the hold of a ship. What I mean to say is I have a second set of dwarven hold maps to add to your Save Vs. Cave collection (probably I left out a room for Doc in the first one).
Oh, man. Chasm Bridge map, and Sump Pit map in this set.. brewing encounters concepts right now. The maps spark scenario ideas right away. Gabriel, what did you mean in the parenthetical sentence about 'a room for doc'? I didn't get that quip, if it was one of your wordplay or if it was a reference to some of these maps in the 2 dwarven-hold packs?
Yes, I'm Bashful to say your fabled knowledge of such tales dwarfs my familiarity. These maps will make a fine Capitolization City for my game's dwarven empire.
Now see what you did, just when I was almost done building my Dwarven city, which is already 6 levels deep, I see level 7 and possibly 8 wil have to be added...
Don't worry Al e. this is the last planned dwarf set unless I get requests or you count the mine set I'll eventually be adding to the Save Vs. Cave series.
At the risk of copyright I can see a definite contender for Garumn's gorge there! Just need to set up an encounter with a shadow dragon and an enraged dwarf now!! This set certainly doesn't make me 'Grumpy' however, in fact it makes me very 'Happy', especially as my players are steamrollering towards the underdark... with the right lighting this will make a fine Duergar a-hem, Deep Dwarf city!
