Pathfinder Campaign – "Pathfinder Chronicles: The Open Road" Sunday Evening (EST) - Positions Filled

Hello all I'm looking at a starting a new campaign on Sundays playing weekly from 8:30 pm to 12 Midnight (EST). Currently I have 4 players and am looking for a 5th player. I might squeeze in a 6th player but I am unsure as I feel this might slow down the pace of the game. The current make up is Fighter (Archer), Ranger, Fighter (Lore Warden) and Rogue. While my DM style is to let players choose a class rather than dictate having this 5th player be a healer type would be helpful. This campaign is ultimately character driven so I am looking for a player who is comfortable with creating a background and roleplaying their character. Most communication by players will be text based probably using voice for OOC. House rules will be used as well: 1) Item Creation will be limited to minor magic. 2) Aid Other will be modified on how it can be used inside and outside of combat. 3) Darkvision. Both characters and opponents can sneak versus darkvision. It will give a circumstance bonus. There will be other house rules but those are the biggest changes to game mechanics I can think of. Finally new players to Pathfinder are welcome. Please find details pasted below: Classes allowed: Core classes only Archtypes allowed: Yes Races: Core only Character Creation: 25 pt Buy in Character Traits: 1-2 (should tie into character background) Alignment allowed: No Chaotic Neutral or Chaotic Evil. Evil aligned PCs will need my approval. Character Background: 1-2 paragraphs Character Secret: 1-2 paragraphs Max Starting Gold and HP for 1st lvl characters The campaign starts off with your character being named an initiate of the Pathfinder Society, Golarion's most well known organization of explorers, historians and adventurers. To be part of the Society means to cross the globe in search of uncovering long forgotten secrets and discovering ancient treasures all in hopes of immortalizing your adventures (and thereby yourself) in the annals known as the Pathfinder Chronicles. Whether you traveled from the wild frontiers of Varisia, or possibly the once great kingdom of Taldor or any of the other regions of Golarion you found yourself in the city of Absalom at the doors of the Grand Lodge, the headquarters of the Pathfinder Society. Many other hopeful faces crossed the threshold with you that day and one by one the lot of you performed a battery of abstract tests that equally tested your physical and mental attributes. But not everyone is suited for the Pathfinder Society and when the day ended the number of people left had dwindled by at least a quarter. Your personal belongings would soon be replaced for a plain gray smock and a key for your locker. Three individuals – known respectively as the Master of Swords, the Master of Scrolls and the Master of Spells – would stand before you as you swore the Oath of the Initiate. As each greeted you in their own unique manner one message was delivered by all of them that should you last through this trial your training would not end here it would continue in every blade you swung, every word read from a long lost journal or every arcane puzzle unraveled from a scroll. Over the next three years you would perform a range of tasks from scrubbing the floors, being assigned guard duty to even sorting and cataloging books within the library. Each day you would be divided into groups and taught something new from one of the trainers all the while being carefully observed and tested by the Masters. When you weren’t training any entertainment had to be found within the Grand Lodge because leaving the grounds meant expulsion from the Society. As the months passed by you watched as familiar faces that had traded their freedom for a gray smock were returned their personal belongings and politely bade good bye by the Society. But even as the numbers thinned the Masters continued to push requiring more and more from you. Maybe it was chance or maybe you were herded into it but eventually some of you gave up on being the fierce independents you had started out as and began to support one another whenever you could. It was around this time now entering your final year where the menial tasks assigned to you turned into more meaningful tasks. Given the time to explore and focus on the areas that interested you the last year, while still challenging, flew by until at last at the end of the third year you are called before one of the Masters...
Hi KarmicKnight, I'd be up for playing a support role for the party and a heavy roleplaying game sits right by me!
Fighter (Lore Warden), Fighter (Archer), Ranger [Archery Combat Style], Rogue Our party is very combat oriented as you call tell but feel free to play anything you like. We'll just out DPS every encounter. We don't need to stinkin' heals! Lol
Great to hear WebHead. PM me your email and I'll send you the information. Lol @kpsmith
Greetings KarmicKnight, I would love to join in on the adventure if you would have me. I also would gladly play a support class for the group
