Graphics shift visually, or invisibly, by accident

I'm sure that makes no sense really, but: While in a campaign, the graphics for the action bar on the left (layer, select, etc) will occasionally shift further to the left, being slightly off-screen at that point.  When this happens, the tokens on the map will remain in place visually, but to select them, I have to position the mouse cursor some distance (perhaps a grid and a half) away from the token.  Refreshing the game fixes the problem instantly.  This happens on two computers, Windows XP and Windows 7, both using up-to-date google chrome web browser.  I have not determined what causes the problem, but it may be either switching browser tabs, or switching program windows, since I tend to notice it upon returning to the campaign window.  But I haven't managed to stare down the shifting actions panel, so it might just be happening in a time based manner, and I don't notice (since I spend more time writing than moving tokens).

My guess is you are in Chrome and using the third mouse button (pressing Mousewheel in) to move around. It is a known bug that appeared awhile back in Chrome.  That is the only time it seems to happen to me. If you use the third mouse button to move all the way to the left it will shift back.  If this is not the case please let me know.  - Gauss

Ah, in fact, I do routinely move by pressing the wheel, moving, and pressing again to stop moving, on larger maps.  That must be it!  Thank you kindly for solving the mystery.

If you stop using the mousewheel prior to hitting the right side it wont shift over like that. Alternately, shift+mousewheel (not 3rd mouse button) will sidescroll quickly without causing the problem.  - Gauss
