Flatten map option

After building a map using several dozen to hundred tiles, tokens and effect overlays, I have one huge map. I would like an option to flatten the all the items on one layer into a single image. it would also be nice to have that image save to my library so I could reuse it and even tint it darker for a night scene.   This would cut down on loading times too.

Michael , could you send me a join link? I'd like to see your setup.  - Gauss
We've asked and asked for this option... so +1 from me.
In the mean time, you can build your map in MapTool and then Export as a Screenshot and get the whole map as a single image. Then you can break it up in something like GIMP/Photoshop or Sumopaint into more manageable sizes.
I am building maps in Photoshop, but it is convenient as all hell to just search, drag and drop build.
You can build maps that way in MapTool. Search, drag, drop. It's how I make all my large maps now. Tiles and lots of objects in Roll20 lags quite a bit.
I'm fairly sure the ability to flatten that and have one 1080 x 720 image would be much faster than 50+ 150x150 images overlapping.
Yeah, that small of a map... but my Fane of the Sun Swallower map was 3500 x 5000 ish.
nice
Is there a way to export maps out of roll20? I have some large maps I would love to flatten but I don't ant to rebuild them
right now all the only way I have found is to zoom to 100-150% (still keeping it sharp) and screen shot the sections,  Then go into Photoshop (or gimp) and stitch them back together.
ya... I'm not going to along at 100% on a 4224 by 3168 map and then combine those. Not a good use of time.
I agree, on so many levels I would love to flatten and export these maps.
