Player/Token use issues

I have one player/character who is unable to move his token.  I've gone in and selected the token on his character profile/sheet (5E) and given him control to use and edit but it still won't let him.  I'm obviously doing something wrong.  Help anyone?

A few things to check: 1) Does the token represent the character.  If you added it as a default token before setting it to represent the token, the associate hasn't been saved and dragging it out from the Journal will result in an unlinked token that doesn't take the permissions of the character. 2) Did you add it on the Map layer rather than the token layer?  That would make it visible to the player, but not selectable while you would still be able to select it if you were on that layer.

3) Does your player have the selection tool activated? I forget to click this all the time, then get angry when I can't click any tokens.
