New player interested in playing D&D 5E.

Hi there, whomever is interested in reading this. I have watched Critical Role quite a bit, and have been wanting to try D&D for awhile now. If anyone would be interested in showing me how to go about doing things, or tutoring me about the game and this site, I would really appreciate it, though it might take me awhile to grasp some concepts, I am eager to learn and engage, in what I hope to be one of my new favorite hobbies. I have the Players Handbook for 5E, and some ideas for characters, though I don't quite have any made yet, or more accurately, any I'm completely comfortable playing, for whatever reason. I don't really have any set schedule, so I believe any time would be good, though if something does come up I will try and inform other players/the gm of it if I can. (Also, sorry if I'm rambling here, bit nervous so I might be saying much more than what I need to.)
