GM looking for replacement players for a Lvl 10 gestalt D&D 3.5

I am still in the market for one more, maybe two more people. The time for this game is Mondays 5pm EST We use a combination of Mirc for the rp, and Roll20 for the maps and combat. (My time zone is EST) PC's we have: Male Gold half dragon/human Paladin10 /Cleric of Bahamut 6, Female Avian Warlock 10/Dragonfire adept 10, Male human fighter 10/ Cleric of Bahamut 10 Story/Plot: The characters at current are investigating a suspected swamp that a celestial servant of Bahamut has asked the party to investigate a swamp to find two servants of Bahamut that went missing and if needed to be brought back. Alive if possible. Update: The players are investigating an area of quite a few towns that are under attack from a hoard loomed over by a mysterious warlord bent on destroying any resistance to their raids. The players are now engaged with gathering information on the hoard and finding a way to deal with them. BOOKS WE DO NOT USE: Unearthed Arcana, Any book that is 3.0 rules, Book of the Nine Swords, Tome of Battle, Book of Vile Darkness, Book of Exalted Deeds (There is a few feats and items in there I will negotiate, but no promises) The characters are all gestalt. We use a 32 point buy system for ability purchase All Hp is maxed Our exp level is 10 Races: Core races allowed, other races you have to run by me first. Foreign races that I have allowed: Bastet, Leonin (both have been altered you may ask for their specifics), Half celestial, half dragon, a gryphon race, and an avian race. I can give you specifics on them if asked for. Anything else you will have to ask me about. Items: At start 42,000 gold will be assigned for you to purchase items only from the DMG1 book. As any Warrior, fighter, barbarian etc, you may only purchase potions, armor and weapons with enhancements only. EX: +2 longsword, or +1 longbow or +2 chain shirt. (you are permitted to use special metals if you want to pay the extra costs out of the DMG1.) As a magical class such as Bard, Sorcerer, or Cleric you may buy wands, scrolls, potions, weapons, or staffs. As a bard you may buy weapons, any light armor, potions, scrolls or Wands. As a monk you may purchase weapons, potions, or a monk belt from the DMG1 Warlock may purchase weapons, light armor, potions, or a (lesser or greater) Chausible of Fell Power (p.148 complete arcane) There have been quite a number of questions about item creation, and i should address that. You may take the item creation feats as normal. However I do not allow item creation when someone is creating a character new. I do allow times when the item crafter can make his or her items in a reasonable manner so that the feat is being used at a decent rate. And there is no replacement for paying xp for items, that will be done no questions asked. Feats: All Core Feats from the books PHB1, MM1. and PHB 2 are welcome, except for Natural Spell, and Leadership. Any other Foreign feats must be approved by me. Classes: Any from the PHB1 are fine, any from a foreign book has to be approved by me. (some of the classes off the top of my head that are ok: Warlock, knight, ninja, favored soul, scout) PrC's: No PrC's will be permitted in this game. They are only permitted in game if you can role play or earn the PrC properly and earn it in role play. House rules: There is no summoning spells in this game. (Druids from the PHB1 will be replaced with a variant druid which will also replace the wild shape ability. (In addition they will have the ability to swap any spell out for an equal level -vigor- spell) Monks as an option if they do not like the PHB1 version they may play as this alternate version ---&gt; <a href="http://wiki.faxcelestis.net/index.php?title=Monk" rel="nofollow">http://wiki.faxcelestis.net/index.php?title=Monk</a> Upon death there is no XP penalty applied. Magical items are harder to come by in my game, to supplement this I have devised a decent patch to cover this: (I have given monks a break since they depend on magic items to stay competitive, so I made this is reasonable as I could) EX:Ability score bumps work just like how a ranger's favored enemy works. You will pick a (1st) abilty, and when that comes up say you pick Strength. Every times a Ability points (1st comes up only strength gets bumped. You pick Dexterity for (2nd), and when the ability points (2nd) comes up only dexterity goes up and so on and so forth. 1st: +2 ability points(1st) 2nd: +1 to all saving throws 3rd:+2 ability points (1st) -4th: Bonus Feat (fighter/monk OR metamagic/item creation)** 5th: +2 ability points (2nd) 6th: +1 to all saving throws 7th: +2 ability points (1st) -8th: Bonus Feat (fighter/monk OR metamagic/item creation)** 9th: +2 ability points (2nd) 10th: +1 to all saving throws 11th: +2 ability points (3rd) -12th: Bonus Feat (fighter/monk OR metamagic/item creation)** 13th: +2 ability points (1st) 14th: +1 to all saving throws 15th: +2 ability points (2nd) -16th: Bonus Feat (fighter/monk OR metamagic/item creation)** 17th: +2 ability points (3rd) 18th: +1 to all saving throws 19th: +2 ability points (4th) -20th: Bonus Feat (fighter/monk OR metamagic/item creation)** ** Monks can take the Improved Natural Armor Feat, and/or Improved Natual Attack Feat even if they do not meet the requirements as a monk bonus feat only in regards to this list. In English this will be in ADDITION to the normal ability points you get every 4 levels, and the feats you get at 1st and 3rd then every 3 levels after to compensate for the loss of magical items. I wanted to have magical items more rare so they are appreciated more. And it gives the magical classes more sway and look more mystical. My rules: Please be on time, or I will have to dock the percentage of xp that you are late of a session. In addition if you do this too many times I will replace you. Please show up, or you will get no xp and you will fall behind. I will not play your character for you. (if you warn me by email in a reasonable amount of time that you will be late or not there, I -try- work out something with you.) No Players vs. Players fighting lethally situations, I have read and witnessed quite a few bouts and they always end up badly. Do not do it or it will be taken care of swiftly. Please show respect to players and the GM, and you in turn will be treated fairly in return. Please, no evil characters. I will allow neutral characters, but if you give them no reason to go out and adventure I don't want to see them or you'll make another character. May I present Twiggy Greenleaf, the NG Cleric/Rogue Pixie: <a href="http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheetview.php?sheetid=660704" rel="nofollow">http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheetview.php?sheetid=660704</a> I have done a couple of things that would require your permission, as it was not explicitly given: 1. Clearly, I used the Pixie race.&nbsp; Information for this came from <a href="http://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/SRD:Sprites%E2%80%94Pixies_%28Race%29" rel="nofollow">http://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/SRD:Sprites%E2%80%94Pixies_%28Race%29</a> 2. You did not list wondrous items as allowable magic items, yet I selected a Handy Haversack.&nbsp; Some form of storage is necessary (and would be entirely expected) especially for a small character of this level, with the associated weight limits. In terms of playstyle for combat, the 60ft flying speed with good maneuverability provides for an excellent method of getting around the battle.&nbsp; This would allow Twiggy to get to any characters that needed a bit of healing.&nbsp; He is unarmoured, instead making use of the big dex bonus to AC.&nbsp; Pixies also have Greater Invis as a supernatural ability, which means Twiggy would be getting sneak attack damage on anything that's vulnerable to critical hits (unless they have see invis abilities, of course).&nbsp; The invis and DR/10 cold iron (fey racial) also lend some survivability to a level 6 character playing a lvl 10 gestalt campaign :) Still to be done: skill selection (focused on a dungeoneering thief), final feat selection, and spell selection.&nbsp; Though with a cleric, spells can be changed every day.&nbsp; There is some potential here for making a divine metamagician as well, with chained persistent spells that benefit the entire party. Edit - Availability: I live in EST.&nbsp; Can play weeknights after 6pm, and pretty much any time on weekends, as long as the games are planned far enough in advance that I don't double-book myself.

That would make it sleightly better, but that's like saying what if i promise to only be oral herpies instead of genetal herpies. And of the 4 sheets that have been turned in so far there are 4 full divine spell casting classes among them. There is nothing wrong with the race itself, and its not like im going to passively agressivly punish you for playing one, i just hate them in the way elfs are suppost to hate dwarfs and vice versa.
Aw.&nbsp; Legolas and Gimli ended up becoming bestest buddies.&nbsp; I have hope for our friendship yet.&nbsp; (PS - be sure to add "considers pixies to be as palatable as genital herpes" to the info fields at the bottom of your character sheet!) Depending on the makeup of the group that gets chosen, I'd be willing to switch out the cleric for an arcane caster.&nbsp; I'd lose out on the fort save, and drop one HD size as well.&nbsp; But I'm cool with that.&nbsp; I definitely need to keep at least one full caster on the mix, though.
Dont get me wrong. An army of clerics to cast persistant spells on me? Im down. But haste and some stuff are things I would miss by not having an arcane caster. In fact, a mystic theurge would be nice.
Looks like Enlarge Person would also mesh nicely with the area-denial tripfighter that you've created.&nbsp; Double your reach to 20ft, and you'd dominate a huge area of the battlefield.

In case you have too many divine caster applicants, I've whipped up a sheet for Twiggy Greenleaf as a rogue/wizard as well: <a href="http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheetview.php?sheetid=661081" rel="nofollow">http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheetview.php?sheetid=661081</a> This version of Twiggy would not dive into melee if he could avoid it, instead staying above the fray and using his invis, Rapid Shot, and Longbow of Speed to make 3 attacks per round, each with sneak attack damage.&nbsp; As a Wizard, he would focus on buffing allies and debuffing enemies.
Lol, I think that I should run Herc, Hayato should run the other Quinn, David should run the cleric rogue, and eric should run the fighter. we would have so many full divine caster classes.&nbsp;
Well I would not say crazies, but there will be demons, some undead much later on, and some common fodder you may all like.&nbsp; I also made a -villain- per say to try keep things interesting.&nbsp; After all have to have a antagonist in the mix to keep people seething. I'm going over all the sheets as fast as I can, just remember there are no magic items except for the exceptions stated.&nbsp; That also includes the special enhancements like holy on swords, or fortification on armor or shields would nto be permitted.&nbsp; Only the (+1 ...etc) are permitted on weapons and armor to clarify.
Oops!&nbsp; Thanks for the clarification.&nbsp; I've removed the special discriptors from my weapons.&nbsp; That, unfortunately, leaves me with a whole lot of gold, and no good ideas on how to spend it.&nbsp; Here are some ways I could spend it, if it's permitted: 1. Put armor enhancement bonuses on my clothing.&nbsp; The spell Magic Vestment treats clothing at +0AC armor.&nbsp; If that interpretation extends to normal armor enhancements, then I'll bump my AC through magic clothing. 2. Item creation feats.&nbsp; I know you said no item creation at character creation, but I do have the feats in my build.&nbsp; I can save the money for now, and put the special modifiers on my weapons when we've got a week of downtime ingame. Which brings up a question for the wizard character - does the rarity of magic items in this world extend to scrolls as well?&nbsp; So far, he's only got the "free" spells from leveling up.&nbsp; I won't bother with scroll purchases at creation if I'll be able to find them later in the game, but if that's not going to happen, I'll pick up a couple of spells to transcribe into my spellbook right now. Unfortunately Magic vestment is a spell with a limit on its duration.&nbsp; Therefore it is not eligible for any permanent enhancement bonus as you would when purchasing armor. As for item creation, when you meet the requirements of the facility, materials, and xp needed to create the item in question.&nbsp; I will have no problem with you creating items if the time and situation allows after a few sessions of game play.&nbsp; However at current this is -character creation- so the rule stands. Scrolls you can buy, that's your right as a appropriate spell-caster of the right class.
Look above to the first post I made under the GM's It lists all of the characters presented so far and I will update it as I see them to make it easier to track chars and variations. Also GM is there anything a player can do (Such as the trait) to increase a size to large without taking a template?
I meant as a base. Half dragons get cool wings if they are large or larger as a base creature, and those are what I was after. There is a 3.5 trait that can make you large, and two +1 LA creature templates (Half Minotaur/Half Ogre) that can make you large aswell. I didnt want to take the trait without his permission to do so, It would be for Hercus
Ah yes I did neglect to mention an option with half dragons I allow.&nbsp; My apologies for not mentioning it. Instead of the +8 to strength, if you elect to take +4 strength you would gain wings fro your half dragon.&nbsp; You would get reptilian wings with a speed of double your land speed.&nbsp; Your maneuverability would be average.
Ouch, I'd pass. the str is all you really have to make up for the +3 LA you lose from BaB. I guess if I really want wings ill just play King instead of Hercus. Also making a a +0 LA dual caster just for fun to choose from. I think its nice how people have made multiple characters so when the dm makes his choice not only dose he have a wider verity to choose from but there is still a variety that the player can pick from to better compleate the party.
So can we get an update on how your doing and what your thinking?

UPDATE: One of the players I chose did not show up and I have not received a response form him in over a week. There fore I am in the market for one player if any are still interested. We seem to have enough healing to last everyone, so being a cleric of some type is no longer required. The game has been agreed upon to happen Monday's at 5PM EST
Afraid I can't make a 5pm EST start time. I could maybe do 5:30pm, and definitely 6pm, but not 5pm. I'm sorry to hear that David, but the time is pretty set sadly. Golden: Please take your time, there is no rush. Someone else actually asked about the factotum class, and I do not allow that class. I could use a rogue, or mage class though. Or both! I'll be interested in what you come up with Christian, if the time suits you alright. I would love to hear what idea you might have. I dont think there is enough time to throw someone in by this Monday, however next session after that I can arrange something. If you are making a character, let me know and I will look it over the sheet. This is more of a role play and story for sessions. Anyone who is looking for 60% combat and above need apply somewhere else.
