Player unable to get past loading screen.

One of my players has attempted to load my campaign on his laptop on PC, pc is on windows 7, laptop is on vista, he has tried Chrome and firefox on both machines, all addons turned off, firewall turned off, antivirus turned off, cache, cookies, history has been cleared, firefox and chrome have both been reinstalled, flash and java have been uninstalled then reinstalled to latest version, but he is unable to get past the loading screen. I have searched through his console but it reports no errors. Once he clears the cache he gets a loading timer but the chat doesn't load, sometimes the music plays, he is unable to join other campaigns. The ads load after he clears it, but once he tries to load again, the ads don't load and he's at a black screen with the loading text, but nothing progresses no matter how much time is given. The only message in chrome that pops up, and it pops up in the log in firefox is. " Waiting for s-dal5-nss-5.firebaseeio.com...""

Tobias, I don't see any issues there. Have you ever been able to connect before? Ivan, please send me a join link. Id like to come take a look at the campaign.&nbsp; - Gauss
Yes, I could join 3 or 4 times before today, although I had to reconnect to the site one or 2 times due to a simillar issue (Map screen didn't load in) When we tryed to solve the problem I shut down my windows firewall, my anti virus program, all my addons and plugins of firefox, tryed to use google chrome, updated Java and the flashplayer, restarted the computer ^^ ..and reseted my modem ..... and as mentoined above, it is the same problem for my laptop (I can give you the specifics of it too if you want me to). I also can not connect to other campains. I tryed to create my own, but it created the same problem. One thing left to mention: when I entered ouer old campain I could hear the music of our last battle, but still no map screen. It is always stuck in the loading phase. Xeno

Are you using Roll20 in Google Hangouts or just Roll20? Please clear your cache and cookies and try to connect again. Report any console errors when you do.&nbsp; - Gauss
Hello again, the bug occured again last week (sunday). Again on both machines as described in the report here. I tried to connect several times through out the week and it worked fine until today. Now it's the same error again. Xeno

Tobias, when it happens to you please go to <a href="http://status.roll20.net/" rel="nofollow">http://status.roll20.net/</a> and check what the status of the servers are. The status of the servers is to the left hand side of the server names. Let me know if any of them are in red when you have problems. Also, please open up your console before you try to get into your game and if you are unable to get into the game report any console errors. You can access Firefox's console via Ctrl+Shift+K - Gauss

Ok, Ill let the Devs know. - Gauss
Thank you. I don't know if it's important but the server status to the left of the server name is green. The server status to the right is yellow for most of the Real-Time-sync ones. Xeno

To the right of the name is the history for each day. There have been a few days of relatively brief hiccups so they show yellow. - Gauss
This part: resource://gre/modules/XPIProvider.jsm -&gt; jar:file:///C:/Users/***/AppData/Roaming/Mozilla/Firefox/Profiles/zwqvk3fc.default/extensions/%7Bd10d0bf8-f5b5-c8b4-a8b2-2b9879e08c5d%7D.xpi!/bootstrap.js Means that you have an extension of some kind interfering with things. Please disable all your addons/extensions and try again. If that still doesn't fix it, let us know.
I deinstalled my additional software and deaktivated all plugins. Afterwards tryed to connect to the campain without succsess. Reactivated my plugins 1 by 1 without change, same for the additional software. Deleated my cookies before every new attempt. Xeno p.s. servers are all green for today.
What sort of environment are you connecting from, Tobias? Is this just a standard residential connection? Does your ISP block other sites or ports (e.g. BitTorrent, etc.)?
I'm connecting from my home in Berlin - Germany, so yes it is a standard residential connection and I don't know if it blockades webpages other than certain youtube videos due to GEMA - copyright trouble. Those go hand in hand with a notification which says exactly that. As far as it goes for ISP ..I have no clue what that is ^^ but I just connected to BitTorrent [com] without any trouble. Xeno p.s. I tried to connect via my mothers w-lan connection (she lives in a nother, close by, flat) with the same issue.

Tobias , could you try another computer? Also, I suggest doing a clean install on one of your browsers (you seem to primarily use Firefox, try doing an uninstall and clean install of Chrome) and then try that browser again. - Gauss
I tried my main pc and two laptops (the one of my mother and my own) all 3 with the same problem. I will try the chrome thing. Xeno
Entered the Camp. with Chrome. Worked this time :). I wonder why, it was one of our first actions when the problem accured 3 weeks ago. Only difference is that I uninstalled FF this time. Happy^Xeno

Compared to Chrome, Firefox can be more touchy about connections. - Gauss
