I am obviously a roll 20 noob. Im not sure how to create a journal entry that includes stats. Also, I dont understand what a tag is.. Thanks!

In the Journal tab, just right click the Characters group and select the option to create a new character. If the character is for one of the players, also remember to give them control of that character.
