Hi potential player/GM, We are a group of 4 who game just about every Sunday at 8PM Eastern/5PM Pacific. We are getting ready to start an Out of the Abyss campaign, but we also have a Princes of the Apocalypse game that has been running for some time, with the players currently at 10th level. Once the PotA game wraps up, we might play Champions or Pendragon or Call of Cthulhu, etc.. So we would love to find someone who's interested in playing long-term with us. You won't be required to GM/DM, but we are open to trying out other games. We go with a universal vote, but the typical consensus is if you want to run it, we will give it a shot. We are all adults in our 40s, but we can be typical gamers, we can be
rude, we can be crude, but most of all we just like to have fun and laugh. While
we are all geeks/nerds to a large degree, most of us work in the tech industry
in some capacity and can interact socially with most people. Our games are
essentially drama free and always default to the DM/GM is always the final
word.
We tend to be more liberally minded than conservative. We
want someone who isn’t going to talk about politics or be argumentative. We want
someone chill, someone open-minded, someone who can go with the flow and
understand it’s more about having fun than anything else.
The other three guys tend to like the dungeon crawl aspects
of gaming with more of an emphasis on combat. While I tend to like more on the
side of roleplaying, so we would need someone who doesn’t mind both kinds of
games. Personally I would prefer someone who likes to roleplay with the hope
that it helps the other guys break out of their shells a bit.
Out of the four of us, I am the one who will be making the
call on who gets to join, but if we collectively feel like you aren’t a fit, we
will be honest about it and go back to the well to see if we can find a better
