Edge of the Empire Dice Roller Not Working

Hello, I'm gearing up to start a new Edge of the Empire campaign using Roll20's API supported character sheet. However, I can't get any of the dice rolling to actually work. I've followed instructions posted in several past bug reports, such as clearing chat archive (which is empty anyways, since this is a new campaign), disabling extensions, trying multiple browsers, clearing cache, etc. For the life of me, I can't figure out why this isn't working. The only solutions I've been able to find are to rewrite the script, and since I'm not a pro member, I can't access that feature. And even if I could, I'd likely mess it up. What can I do to get this feature working? Thank you.
I think that for this to work the game's creator must have an active Pro membership and must install the script in the API Scripts section for the game.
I don't know for sure, but, I believe the Burning Wheel support is API based and my friends and I have run a game using Roll20 and that support system, and all of the dice rolling mechanics worked perfectly.
And none of us are pro.
Hi, Michael C. The  Star Wars: Edge of the Empire (API-Compatible) Character Sheet requires access to the API in order to use its roll buttons. Your group may wish to use the Star Wars: Edge of the Empire (Simple) Character Sheet.

The Star Wars: Edge of the Empire (API-Compatible) Character Sheet purposely requires the API in order to function. It has in depth logic/features that extend/automate play for Roll20. As such it adds features that take a long time to code and test. With that it is a little thing to ask that people that want all of those features, get a subscription to Roll20 (and all of its wonderful features) to use that advanced functionality. While I have read that some people use that particular sheet for a free subscription to Roll20, they lose out on nearly everything that makes it amazing and that is provided by this platform. I understand some people cannot afford the price for a subscription to the Pro features required for this sheet. For them the (Simple) character sheet is available without the advanced features.
I never argued against the features being exclusive to Pro members or not, I understand that there has to be incentive for members to be willing to pay a subscription fee. I was merely asking if this was an issue with the sheet itself, or an intentional lock-out. Because it was not made clear when reading the sheet's description, and because other sheets with similar mechanics and dice-rolling functions are available to free-members. So, it's not easy to distinguish between what is available to the average user and what is available to the different subscription levels.

The name "API-Compatible" did not make it clear?&nbsp; "This character sheet utilizes the FFG-SWRPG-Dice-Roller.js to perform many of the rolls of the sheet, please make sure this is loaded. For information about the sheet and instructions how to load the script please visit the wiki page at <a href="https://wiki.roll20.net/SWRPG-API-Compatible" rel="nofollow">https://wiki.roll20.net/SWRPG-API-Compatible</a> " Seems 100% clear to me. If it is not clear... what could be added to that to say "As a free member 90% of this will be useful for record keeping but worthless to do anything else as the script is required to do anything fun/useful with this sheet" in a way that isn't condescending? The wiki also states... "reply to <a href="https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/3356434/sw-ffg-official-character-sheet-thread/?pageforid=3367379#post-3367379" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/3356434/sw-ffg-official-character-sheet-thread/?pageforid=3367379#post-3367379</a> if you have any issues" I am sorry that you had some confusion with the intent of the sheet, but there have been numerous attempts to make it clear that you missed.
