The reason Maladon is now quite difficult is that you can't always gauge threats that easily, because the game is not 'level appropriate'. That and I am using feats/abilities to augment monsters. As I have explained, I have made it difficult because several antisocial tendancies in players automatically vanish if the game is hard. I also think it makes for sharper more tension filled games. I wouldn't make every game I GM this dangerous, but it is nice every so often. But what I think is well known; what do YOU think? How difficult would you like the game to be: 1) Bring it on; set the difficulty to MAX!!! 2) The game diffculty is good as it is. XXXXXXXXX 3) I'd like the game a bit easier please. 4) I'd like the game a bit harder please. X 5) I'd like the game to be a lot easier please. 6) I don't like character death to happen unless it's dictated by the story. XX
