[LFG with GM] I would like to Co-DM, preferably Pathfinder

Hello! I would like to take a stab at GMing a campaign. I don't have any experience and although I've read a few guides here and there, there's so much to learn with real experience. Would a group who already has players and a GM willing to let in a new GM to assist in the sessions? Thanks!

Sora - I would need to check with my players but I have a 5e campaign that I can potentially add you as a Co-DM.  We play Tuesday nights.

Hi Sora, what is target of your co-DMing? I think if you want to be DM, you will still have to go and run something yourself. I believe if you wil state that you are new clearly, there is no trouble to try. Some one shots or short story 3-5 games are good.start. I would on the contrary to your suggestion recommend to take some advice-GM there who can be asked for opinion and advice. If it will go well, there is then no problem to advance the played games by other short stories and if it has good drive, to build campaign out of them.

Hey Sniper, sorry for the super late reply!  It's mostly to understand what prep work, resources and tools that more experienced GM's may be comfortable using that newer ones may not realize. I understand I can use videos and read online guides (which are wonderful, by the way) but is a very different experience compared to seeing it live, and especially if the GM is willing to provide thought process/feedback along the way. I like seeing GM's do their behind the scenes work and during the actual roleplay. Almost like a teacher - they do so much prep work before class and you don't really realize. You can read all the books and do lots of interactive classroom training, but shadowing a teacher gives you a different perspective. Hope that helps! @Black- thank you so much!! :)
I wouldn't mind allowing you as well. I've got a game coming up on Saturday meant for new players to table top as well. With as much prep work there is before hand, there's also a lot of things to consider during the game as well. One thing that is definitely required is to have patience with people who either don't have a full concept of the rules, or completely new to the area of table top games to begin with. If you would like to, I think that it could be a great experience for you to have, learning how to work with fresh new players because that's one thing I've found with a fair amount of GM's is that they tend to have a lack of patience for those who are extremely green because they feel that it just kills the game for other players who are more experienced.
Awesome! Thank you so much, Kyle. I completely agree with you on the note of new players. I myself am still pretty new; I've been in 1 Pathfinder campaign for about a year  (finished about 1.2 books in 1 AP). But our GM is amazing and thus would like to learn! :) This Saturday is actually looking pretty good for me! What time is your campaign?
11 pm EST. If you're able to make it, I would gladly enjoy having you, plus the assistance would be helpful later on once you get the hang of things. Send me a PM and we can more if you're able to join.
Will you be able to make that?
