If anyone was part of the last group I tired to set up, I went on a week hiatus for study. If you're still interested PM me. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hey Guys! I'm looking to start a group for some 5e shenanigans. Possibly looking at weekend games, Times will mostly be in the evening for you North American people, which will be my mornings (Australian). Why did I say 'pacient players'? Well I'm not a great GM, and certainly not a great writer. I have been GM a handful of times and honestly prefer playing. GM's are in the minority, so its either put your name down for a bunch of games or get good. If any GM's are looking for a group then hit this group up. This group would probably be good for newcomers to D&D5E and PnP games. However, if a seasoned player can put up with a noob like myself feel free to join. Players will need a microphone, and I prefer to play with people around my age (23). Don't shy away if you're young. The game will be homebrew, I don't like railroady adventure paths. I like my players to have a good amount of choice in what they do, and I hate grand adventures. Letting the story naturally progress from simple beginnings is much more appealing to me. I haven't even considered making a setting yet as I'm busy with university, but I hope that we as a group can world build together. Characters don't have to be super in-depth with serious daddy issues. Not that getting creative with your backstory is a bad thing, I just prefer a story to be told through play rather than cater to characters backstories. Your character can be a merchant, blacksmith, barkeep, teacher, whore and we can progress from there. I'm more of a roleplay guy, so definitely keep that in mind if you're interested. Combat definitely won't be neglected, but I don't like min-maxing to much. TLDR Playing weekends, north american evenings, australian morning I'm a shit GM, but I'll get good I promise. Homebrew campaign, looking for group world building. Simple characters. More roleplay than combat, definitely still combat. https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/48829/5e-homebrew
