[LFG] D&D 4E/5E - UTC + 8 - Looking for Mentor and/or Newb Friendly Games

Hello. I've just registered on this site so please point me in the right direction if I'm doing this wrong.  I'm Letha and I've recently discovered the world of tabletop gaming, namely Dungeons and Dragons. I have no experience whatsoever, aside from building characters. (But what use is an awesome character if you never get to use them?)  I am looking primarily for D&D Fourth or Fifth Edition games. I currently reside overseas, and my timezone is UTC +8. Ideally, I would greatly appreciate it if my mentor or group are able to accommodate my tricky times. I am looking for relatively short-term campaigns, maybe three or four months tops. The reason is because I will be starting college in the fall and that will make my availability even more tricky. As it is summer break right now, I am available almost every day of the week, and I am usually on when it is "late night" in the United States. I am not comfortable using voice/video until I have developed a degree of familiarity with my mentor/group. If you have any questions about what I'm looking for, please ask! Also any suggestions on tabletop gaming mechanics in general will be appreciated. I am very new to this but what i know so far is very promising and interesting.
