Torchbearer GM Academy

With the current state of things, after the adventure in both Tuesday and Thursday game, there's no other GM to propose an adventure so..... If any of you want to GM I can spend some of my precious time to teach you some tricks. Reply here if your interested! (you need the rule-book to GM, just to be clear)
I have a one-shot in mind but need to finish the detailed prep.  Maps, wandering monster table etc.  I didn't really think I'd have a chance to GM so it's mostly flavour at this point in time.

^ Same goes for me, I'd be glad to workshop with you on whatever you need. Also yes, please, we need more GMs. There's only so long people will put up with me murdering them. Diversity of leadership is needed. More GMs means more play nights means more players means more snake cult.

Could I get GM access for Friday please, running my USCM thing will be possible without, but much easier with.
Need to see how the game is run. My question is how does conflict work over d20?

The best resource to learn GM'ing in Torchbearer? Read  The Crypt of Skogenby. Everything is there. Wandering monsters, meaningful twists, conditions etc. If you need maps, go for dungeons with few interesting rooms.  This blog is a very good way to get easily adaptable material.
....I may have already had a number of those one-page dungeons in reserve for this group...
The offer still stand, and we NEED new GMs. There's so much players, and so few of us!
i want to dm but i want a few games as a player under my belt.  dose any one have the player decks and the macros for the game so i can get used to roll20
I have almost always been a GM and prefer it over playing, but I have never even played Torchbearer.  I need to play a few times before I am ready to run it.
Two prospect GM... good good Eric check out the tutorial for roll20 its pretty good
I could potentially run a short game as an intro to you prospective GMs. I think around the end of June, but let me review my calendar first.
If there is a GM workshop I would like to join  I haven't played Torchbearer but I have played and familar with Burning wheel
I could run a game June 17 or 18, or two successive sessions. My availability is 9 pm to 12 am EST USA.
I want in on those games
Thanks for volunteering, Nate.
my pleasure. Hopefully it works out for a few new potential GMs to play.
I should be able to make either of those nights, but Friday would be my first choice.  I'm in MDT so the times work great.

Hey guys - I know this was a month ago. I'm also a prospective GM that wants some actual play under his belt first. If this or another intro game is up sometime count me in.

If more ppl are interested I might run something. 3 ppl min thought
Interested  MST (-6MT) prefer late night (IRL stuff) own the book, waiting to venture.
Kind of necroing but I would be interested to learn more about running Burning Wheel. I have some understanding of the basics but Circles, Resources, Duel of Wits, Fight! and Range and Cover are difficult to grasp. I have no plans for a game per ce yet. I'm on GMT +2.
