So recently I've been rewatching (replaying, whatever) Until Dawn and I've dipped back into an old guilty pleasure of mine, cheesy horror flicks and games, given the recent semi-revival the genre's been going through the past few years and y'know what? I'd love to see more horror games, especially ones which embraced the goofiness, the fact that phones never have signals, the fact that you have larger than life, almost comical villains, endless cliche and ridiculously easy access to excellent if slightly unsettling party locations. So, can anybody out there help me out? I'd be looking for games which place a sense of fun (if tinged with a slight creep factor) first and reality second (not to say I don't want plenty of roleplaying mind you!) and although I am looking for something with the air of a slasher movie, I'd love it if it could develop into something longer than a few sessions in length. Double love goes to anything like Until Dawn, Evil Dead or Cabin in the Woods or anything similar to that. Ideally I'd be looking for a game any day from Tuesday to Saturday, weekly and I'm a Brit so bear in mind I'd like a Euro-friendly time, especially as I prefer longer sessions. Hope you can help, hope this gets some interest!
