LFG of older D&D/Pathfinder/CoC players GMT-6

I'm looking thirty in the face and really want to find a game with older people in it.  Willing to play most evenings or midday on the weekends.  I have a job, so I can't stay up until three in the morning anymore.

Take a look for Campfire rpgs lfg listing. It is a friendly group of people and their games usually run from 8pm ish to 11ish eastern. They run a variety of games in a one or two shot sessions. They just did a gamma world game and will be running a CoC game tomorrow (it's listed full but there are usually no shows).
Likewise, I wouldn't mind a D&D or Pathfinder group. I'm in my 40s and prefer older gamers, just as the OP. Exact edition can be decided upon later, although it'd have to be a weeknight for me. Also, I am only interested in a campaign of some length (10+ sessions) - one-shots aren't worth the hassle to my scheduling.

I've noticed with the group I mentioned that they play one or two session then move to another system for a session or two then they return back to a previous system. They just cycle through various systems but return back to the game and pick back up. Take this last bit. We played a CoC game for 2 sessions then another GM ran a gamma world session or was it two and now they are back to the CoC with the same characters. I would be playing but I can't this week due to school scheduling.

@Metroknight: Thanks for the information.  I'm a bit new here; where would I look to find the 'Campfire' groups?   Edit: Never mind, I found the group.  Now I'll have to camp the LFG postings on Thursdays :-/  Like Patrick said, I wish they had longer running campaigns, but I love the focus on story. @Patrick: If I can find some other people and a GM, I'll keep you in mind.  What is your timezone?

I could potentially run a reboot of my current campaign. 1st edition AD&D (core books) + house rules. My current group plays on Monday evenings so Tue, Wed or Thurs evenings would probably work best for me. Let me know if you're interested. Edit: Sentinel's post reminded me, I should have stated up front that I am on Central Time.
FT1(SS)/Bluno's at your service. THAC0 veteran. I like D&D up to 3.5, Pathfinder is cool. Palladium RIFTS, Shadowrun up to 3rd Ed. It would be cool to get a weekly game night going with some other seasoned vets. Weeknights after Wed. is good for me, but work might creep up like a phantasmal killer... I'm in on Pacific Standard Time for CA.
Sentinel,  what's the earliest time (Pacific) that you would be available?
let me know if you guys get something rolling, i'd love to do 3.5 or pathfinder

I'd be very interested in a Pathfinder game.  I have a lot of the books, but not a lot of experience in playing it.  Would you be willing to run a Pathfinder game?
I don't have any Pathfinder materials and really no time to learn a new game system. I've been sticking with 1st edition AD&D because I already know the system.
Well, I suppose I'd be willing to give it a go.  I don't have any materials for it and everyone seems to fear THAC0, but people seem to still like it quite a bit.
I guess this fizzled out.

To figure out thaco you just subtract the ac from 20 and thats the number to roll over. I'm old school usually also.
That's not so bad then.  It basically means that your resistance to damage goes up as your AC goes down.  A little odd, but really no odder than anything else in the D&D system.
teluria is recruiting. we're a light fantasy campaign running saturday nights 7 to 9:30 central gmt -6 we use bfrpg. check it out at basicfantasy.org if you check out the general discussion forum we post a writeup of our sessions there.

It's been years since I thought of thaco so my process (numbers) might be off. AC type thaco 10 10 9 shield 11 8 leather 12 7 leather/shield 13 6 14 5 chain mail 15 4 chainmail /shield 16 3 17 2 Platemail 18 1 platemail / shield 19 Now as you go up in levels your thaco number is reduced by a certain amount. I house ruled back in mid 90's what is common now adays with the ascending combat rolls. Like Larry B, I use BFRPG and find it is an excellent blend of old school feel and some modern mechanics. On the plus side it is also free and actively supported by their forums.
