Selecting a portrait image from the library

So, is it possible to select a character's portrait image from the library? I can only seem to figure out how to upload a new copy of the token, which really bloats the library with duplicates because I'm in the habit of setting up the token first and then setting up the character's image/default token.

Use the image search from the sidebar to find your image and drag/drop from your search results.  Tagging your images as you import them can make finding specific images easier.  Images from your account will show up at the top of the search results.

Intuitively you should be able to drag/drop directly from your image gallery to a portrait, but alas...

yep, that was what I had been trying and just assumed that since I couldn't straight from the library, I obviously couldn't from the search in the right panel; silly me.
