[LFP] Heart of the Stone Thief 5E

The Stone Thief is a living dungeon. A creature of rock and magic, it hunts beneath the surface of the world, shifting from plane to plane in search of its food... and it can eat just about anything. An attack begins with the rumbling of an earthquake. The ground splits open, and an enormous landslide cascades down into its cavernous Maw. Cities, forests, creatures, and even other dungeons have all fallen before the centuries-long hunger of the Thief. Magic, it consumes as fuel. Stone and metal form its endless halls and rooms, and its chosen creatures patrol these halls like white blood cells, attacking anything that doesn't belong. Powerful places are sometimes preserved entirely intact, or moulded to the Thief's whims. It may carry a Dwarven Temple for decades, only to expel it when it finds something more appropriate to take its place. Dungeon Town is like a parasitic growth within this otherwise perfect creature. Sheltered inside of the long-dead corpse of a Koru Behemoth, it cannot be reached by the Stone Thief. Whatever magic allows the dungeon to contract down to its smallest size, entombing its denizens in a state of hypnotic suspended animation, it is blocked by the shell of the Koru. Rage at this fact causes the Stone Thief to detest any inhabitants of the town. It sends waves of monsters to attack the walls, and only the combined powers of The Provost and Myrdin the Wizard keep them at bay. Dungeon Town is your home. The Stone Thief is your prison. Escape. Kill your captor. Dominate the dungeon and become its master. The choice is yours. The Heart of the Stone Thief is a player-driven Mega-Dungeon campaign for 5th Edition D&D levels 1 to 15. It is based on a campaign published by Pelgrane Press named "Eyes of the Stone Thief". Anyone with knowledge of that campaign is politely implored not to spoil things for the rest of the players . This is an open-table game. Sessions are scheduled each week by the players, limited by DM availability. A rotating cast of characters and players is expected and encouraged. This game is designed to welcome new players at any point in the campaign. A microphone is required. The DM is in the EST time zone, and sessions are typically run in the evening on Thursday and the afternoon on Sunday. Other sessions available by player demand.  Players interested in joining should PM me a character background. Questions can be asked in this thread.

When you play during the evenings, roughly what time are the sessions (start and duration)?
PMed!
So far, the sessions have been on the weekends, and they're about 4 hours long.  That being said, I'm available to DM any evening except for Tuesdays. It would have to be after 6:30pm EST and end by 12:00pm EST.

Right now I have a group that plays regularly on Sunday afternoons, they've lost some players due to schedule conflicts and are looking to fill out their party. This would be from 1pm to 5pm EST.
Hi Brian, what's the current party composition?
It depends on what characters they choose to play on a given day, and what part of the dungeon they plan to explore. There are a few clerics, rogues, a sorcerer, a wizard, a barbarian, and a handful of others.  In this game, players can start a new character whenever they wish. They start at level 1 with standard starting equipment, but you can level up pretty quickly in higher level areas with the rest of the party somewhat carrying you. And you can always switch back and play one of your previous characters, as long as it isn't dead.
I'm interested in playing. I could role a Ranger, Fighter, or Rogue.
I'll play. I have a level 1 wizard.
I will play. Maybe a pally
With this influx of new blood, recruiting is on hold for the time being.
