Recruiting for Pathfinder Carrion Crown [Closed]

I'm a newbie GM looking to run The Carrion Crown adventure path for Pathfinder. For those that don't know, The Carrion Crown is a pre-published campaign in the Pathfinder campaign setting, set in the country of Ustalav. The campaign focuses largely on classic gothic horror elements inspired by works such as Bram Stoker's Dracula and Mary Shelly's Frankenstein , as well as works from other horror authors such as HP Lovecraft and Steven King. I'm interested in people that are willing to commit to a weekly game. Multiple absences without prior warning is a good way to get yourself replaced. I plan to run the game on Sundays starting at 9pm EST, and ending at12pm EST. For now, this is my only timeslot that's readily available, but I will try to be as flexible as I can. If you're interested, please post here with the times you are available or e-mail me at goransonj@gmail.com. I'd also like a very brief history of your experience with Pathfinder, and tabletop RPGs in general. Inexperience won't disqualify you from participating, so don't be afraid to apply anyway. I plan to start the game proper on January 6th, but there will be a chargen and discussion session December 9th at 9pm EST. The invite link will be sent to you by e-mail or Private Message, so also make sure to include your preference in your post. If you have a character concept already, feel free to create it on Myth-Weavers and send me the link. We will begin play at level 1 with two traits, and 20 points to buy starting stats. Please try to keep it to the core rules to make things easier on me, but feel free to run any sort of Paizo content by me for approval.
I'm available each Sunday, but every other Sunday I would be 15-30 mins late driving home from work. I've been playing tabletops for years. I've played Dark Heresy, GURPS, Exalted, World of Darkness Savage Worlds and of course Pathfinder. I have played as a player and GM'd a small campaign http://app.roll20.net/campaigns/details/31537/pathfinder-combat-encounters . Tabletop is my main hobby. I plan on looking at the player companion before I make my character, but before that, I have a question for you. I'd like a little expansion on your GM experience in general and your Pathfinder experience as a player or a GM. Will this game use the Voice Chat? Video chat? An alternate program for either or both?
As far as my own experience goes, I've been playing D&D 3.5 for several years now and currently play in a bi-monthly Pathfinder game. My GMing experience however is as limited as it gets. This will be my first time GMing anything, and that's part of why I chose to run a published campaign. I'd actually like it if other GMs would agree to play in this game because I'm sure I could use any critique you can give me. I'd like to use voice chat, though I understand that's not always available to some people, so it would probably be used more for OOC chatter than IC actions. I tend to write better than I act anyway.
If you still have a slot open I'm willing to play. I have experience in pathfinder and 3.5 in in addition to currently GMing my first campaign. I have a flexible schedule so Sundays would be fine for me. e-mail or private message is fine for me
I've already got at least two other players lined up, so including you two, I'd probably take at maximum up to two more.
Just posting here as I am one of the two aforementioned players. To give my own input, I like the voice chat idea, since we were doing that for the game Peanut and myself were in prior, but I think I'll ultimately leave it to his call. We could probably use Skype if we did.
Voice chat is ok with me as well.
I'd be very interested in joining this as well. A longtime tabletop rpger (stated back in 2e) who usually DMs but would also like to try playing on a VTT. Back in the day I was a big Ravenloft fan so this campaign is certainly of interest. I am available Sundays starting in the new year and should be able to do the 9th as well. I will be upfront in stating that I was running this AP until I moved away (we only got to the start of the 2nd book) but I can certainly separate player and character knowledge and to be honest the details of the individual books I don't truly recall. As for character concept, I am thinking of trying an Inquisitor or if you prefer to stick to core a straight up cleric but geared towards melee, martial. A slavic version of Solomon Kane (zealous avenger type) is my first impression.
Also re character creation 20 point buy?
Yes, 20 point buy for stats. I forgot to mention that in my opening post, but I will edit it in now. Edit: I've found another couple of players outside the forums. Active recruitment is closed, but feel free to continue applications, so I have a waiting list in case of no-shows.
Hi there, I sent you a message. Hope you get it in time for tonight.
