Text based game query

I noticed there seems to be more people posting about wanting text based games. I've been thinking about that and was wondering if there is actually enough players for that style to warrant running one. The game style that I was thinking about running is a text based game that will meet once a week but the game will continue between sessions also as a play by post. What this means is the game will run 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week, and other than major holidays or real life issues such as school or family matters, everyone will be expected to post at least once a day in between sessions. Is there enough of a demand for me to run a game like this?
Judging by the LFG forum volume, and the number of replies campaigns get in the Looking For Group section of the website, there's enough interest in anything you want to put together and GM :)  I'd be very surprised if your campaign didn't fill up very quickly.
@metro, I personally only run text based games. I find that it makes descriptions much richer, and RP much easier since you don't have people trying to pull off bad accents. I do really like the idea of doing RP between sessions, and I've seen a few threads discussing it. As far as interest goes, I'll give this a for sure +1

I have been running a play by post game here so this would be a natural step up from it. I have it mostly worked out but probably have about another week or so to finish it up. I posted about this style to see what type of interest there was. I could run this as a play by post game or as a live text game or as I originally posted a combination of both which is what I'm planning.
