I have discovered an important truth about myself: I really only like GMing games of dnd, I'm not that great as a player. But the part that drives me crazy is not being able to talk to anyone about the story. I can't tell the players what's in my head, because that would ruin the story for them. And I can't tell anyone else, because they really don't care. Couple that with my lackluster interest in acting, and the fact that there's so much to be done; it all leads me to the same conclusion. So what I'm looking for is someone that likes the acting bits, is more deeply entrenched in the world of dnd than I am, isn't repulsed at the idea of sharing GM-powers, and finds the story bits difficult to produce. What I have is an imagination that is so overactive that it occasionally wakes me up with story ideas, a considerable (and growing) collection of art assets compatible with roll20, a frankly embarrassing amount of free time, an unexpected passion for behind-the-scenes work, and about three or four dozen ideas waiting for a use. Plus, I've become a little bit obsessed with the idea of one person playing the monsters, and the other person being the environment and rules. I don't care which one I am either. Just as long as someone's genuinely trying to kill the players during combat, I'm happy.
