How do I make a campaign on roll20 using no external software.

I play D&D and well Im away from my pc too much. So I decided to try and prepare my campaigns using just my phone. I well not to sound negative so I wont describe my search for adventure building apps. So that leaves me having to figure out how to build a campaign on roll20 using just roll20 and nothing else. So is that even possible? How do I write the story? And manage the order of events?
You can use a series of Handouts to keep track of your story and encounters, sort them into subfolders by chapter/event order.

You can place tokens on the GM layer that only you can see that have in the GM Notes section,  room descriptions, Encounter notes, etc for each room and area.

You can pre-place all your monsters and NPCs with their stats written in the GM Notes section of the token so you have them readily available.
Oh right. I can make folders with the handouts. I never use handouts so that didnt occur to me. Keeping map info in the tokens is also an idea that never occured to me. Thanks. Ill give it a shot.

I like to make a character for my important rooms and then make token action macros that output the description to chat using /desc for stuff they notice right away and /GM for anything else.

EDIT: corrected /desc
Another idea I can contemnplate. Thanks.

You can link one handout to another by putting square brackets around the name of the handout you want to link to. For example, if you have Handout1 and in the body of the handout you want to link to Handout2 you type [Handout2] and when you save it the hyperlink is created. This is useful for creating one handout as a Table of Contents that hyperlinks to other handouts.

I do something similar.  I just create a generic token, not even a character sheet.  The token name is the room description.  I set the token on the Object layer, outside the view of the players.  I have a DM only global token macro that sends the name of any token in a whisper to me, and then I relay that info to the players via voice chat.  I believe you could do the same with the token bubbles as well.  I'd have to test but, it's probably possible to put the /GM or /desc command right into the text itself and just call the contents with a simple command.

I put the token on the Object layer so that I don't have to constantly switch between two layers

Oh, I like that, much less macro intensive
