1000 years ago, man errored and from that mistake stemmed Elven fury that fell over them like a fiery tide meant to purge the world. The last lingering pockets of humanity reformed and from their ashes arose a group with a purpose: to prevent the abuse of magic. With most noble beginings, as time went on, their intent became twisted and this group, known only as the Tir-Gollor, have fallen. In common day they are little more than thugs who flaunt their power and keep the people under their thumb with whispers of fearsome mages.
