Dynamic Lighting not working for one of my players

We had our first session with Dynamic Lighting tonight and it was a great experience.  There is one player who was able to see the entire map and it was light Dynamic Lighting was there for him. At the end of the sessions one of the other players who is front end guy was taking a look with some devtool and mention that he could disable dynamic lighting shading and such be turning off Javascript. (I might be paraphrasing badly). In any case we had the player that didn't see the Dynamic Lighting switch to another browser (from chrome to FF) and Dynamic Lighting worked for him. So clearly the player had some odd config in chrome that was preventing Dynamic Lighting from working. Any advice or thoughts on what settings he should check to see why it might be the case? He can continue to use FF, I find it works a bit better with Roll20 anyways, but any advice on what to look at would be apreachated.
I saw this post was moved to Bug Reports & Technical Issues forum, which I had somehow missed. I see the sticky post about requested details and will provide them later tonight, or possibly tomorrow.

Huh, I was just about to post a bug report for this exact issue. Although, I don't know about the JavaScript effect in my case, never thought to look at that. In my case, I had one player that could see everything, and all the others couldn't see anything at all. Kinda spoiled the big bad reveal at the end of the dungeon :(

If a player is having issues with Dynamic Lighting, they need to go through the following steps: (most likely, the problem lies with step 2 and disabling add-ons in the browser they are using, but definitely go through all of the steps just in case) Could you please carefully work through the first three steps of our guide to Solving Technical Issues ? Step 1: Make sure to use the right browser Please check if these issues persist when using both Chrome and Firefox. Step 2: Ensure that there are no extensions/addons interfering with Roll20 Please disable all add-ons/extensions and anti-virus programs. Step 3: Clear your cache If none of the above succeeds, please thoroughly work through Step 4 . (Don't forget the complete Console Log!) As for being able to disable Dynamic Lighting by disabling JavaScript, that is something that we can't do anything about. It's just the way JavaScript works, it runs in your browser and you have full control over it at that point. You just have to trust that your players aren't the type to cheat. If you don't quite trust your players, you can keep any monsters/secrets on the GM layer until the players reach the point where you would reveal them.
Sorry, I didn't mean to imply that being able to circumvent the client side rendering was an issue, only that it was part of our troubleshooting process.
