Seeking help.

Small Note: the account may tell im a year old here. but To be honest never got to do anything here, Basically Im trying a way I can play for the first time In any edition (Since I have no idea what is different other than reading about them, but that doesnt help me since I am more likely to understand them better if I play / experience them) with people. And sadly I never find anything possible, It either needs a mic / video (which sadly I dont have) Or the session is at night (in my timezone +2:00 GMT)  This is basically the 2nd time I am asking this since last year but this time I really want to try to do some D&D. sadly every option Im going for is either closing in on me, or just doesnt seem to fit.  I might for a lot, but I am just trying my best to find a basic and I mean basic game just to understand how a normal session works. If it helps, I dont mind the Genre (sci fi / modern / medieval) as long as it's fiction (non existence to the real world, What I mean is nothing like pokemon or anime, or real life events or movies [for example the Alien series], Pure fiction, situations that unlikely to happen in this world) If there is more information that is needed for you to help me Ill try my best to give it! Thank you for reading.
Without a mic, you are severely limiting yourself. There is a text only group, which might be what you are looking for.

I am still looking, Is there anyone who can help?
I'm not trying to be mean or rude here, and I can understand some situations as to why you're not able to have a headset/mic. But the biggest way you're not only hurting yourself in this and are going to have a hard time with, is learning how to play. There can a lot to say when it comes to learning how to play. Even the simple stuff can take a minute to explain. With voice, it can take 5 to 10 minutes explaining to a group of new people a single skill check due to questions. That's voice. Via text? You're gonna be hard pressed to find someone who has that much patience to work with you because unless they're helping you outside of their game, you're going to be the one who slows it down for everyone. And yes, I do speak from experience as a play by poster. Those games can take a while, and a new person can seriously hold things up. Once again, not trying to be mean or rude, but just being honest here about the challenge you face.

For something in-between, if you don't go into a text-only game. If you can use headphones for listening, but you type your questions and actions (for speaking), that would at least help in terms of the GM answering questions and teaching. Some GM's accept this method. I've played in a couple games where the GM did the talking, the players listened and typed.

I couldn't find a single good game around my time. I still looking and nothing.
The reality of the matter is that most people here are on US times, or able to work with them. US afternoon / Western European evening games do happen, but beyond that you run into very tricky schedules. That alone would still not lock you out of games, but the combination of a lack of voice ability and a lack of experience will compound it into nigh impossibility. Were I you, I'd get a mike and headset, so you at least have some measure of a chance - or look into European-based electronic table tops. Roll20 is open to all timezones, but as said, the prepondrance is towards US-friendly timeslots.

My experience here doesn't back up what Patrick said. Don't be discouraged, just keep looking for games and make your application posts strong. I play regularly with people from around the world on Roll20, whether they are in North America, Europe, Japan, Australia, and so on. For example there are groups of Australian players in Roll20 LFG, and their time zones are almost the direct opposite of USA's. Roll20 even has translation services now and has users in many more countries. Significantly, not everyone plays at the same time of day (afternoon or evening, for example). Many times a player's mid-day availability will match the night hours for other players in a different time zone, which helps with finding games. If you look on Darkflashz profile, Patrick, it says they are available for games 12 hours of the day. There are dozens of time zones and countries, hundreds of games happening, and thousands of players on Roll20 in that daily time span.
I agree with Gold. I live in the EST time zone which is practically favored heavily by the US, but a lot of games I find rarely meet my availability. The game I'm running right now doesn't start until 11pm my time because I have a player from Hawaii and Australia. It helps that I barely sleep on weekends anyways lol, but it's still a better option for me because most games I see are either when I'm at work, during the day on weekends when I busy doing errands or other things, or are just too late for me on a weeknight that I wouldn't be able to join for a whole session.
As an aside, if you just don't own a microphone, I have seen in some MMORPGs some Guild-mates pitch in for someone-in-the-group's mic or someone just send a person a spare mic they had laying around to help things out. so there is that, if it would help. If you can't have/use one for some reason, then yeah, I can understand that. I guess then just follow what the others are saying. I have a mic and cam and still have trouble getting into groups, myself. (Many start too early or run too late for me.) I'm sure it must be much harder with mic/cam limitations. =( Good luck anyway~
