As above.
Apply for more games.
There's like 0 Australian games though. :(
How I deal is by searching for more games.

Host your own game ;) Online TT gaming can require superhuman patience at times... just remember it's not you, it's them!
That's a nice way of looking at it I guess. Gave me a chuckle
You could try teaching a kangaroo to GM for you. Or a more likely solution is to expand your timeframe. I have Australian players in my games, they have just decided to play at less traditional times, mornings there... If you are willing to switch your virtual time zone, there are games out there. There is at least a 20 to 1 ratio of players to GMs, so games tend to fill up very quickly. Shoot for one shots, I use them to look for players for my established games. I ran three during Roll 20 Con, and invited the better players to join my regular games.
Player/GM ratios have always been an issue in TableTop Games. Being an online VTT just means there's even more demands for those same 4-5 seats even if the ratio were the same. If you don't make it into a game, keep applying to others. Get to know folks on the forums and chat. Network socially, be helpful, etc. It takes time to get into the first game or two, but once you do you'll generally find that groups of players stick together and help you find other games they themselves play in. Alternatively, you can always start a game up, yourself. It's often a trite response, but its really very appropriate. The tabletop genre in general needs more GM's, and you'd have no shortage of players willing to join you, even if you're learning it yourself as you go!
It also depends on the game you apply for. World of Darkness for example, 1/3 players are GM's out of the sheer need for them. I have one Australian friend who has to play what is basically early/mid morning in order to actually get any games period and usually he can't stay a full session due to personal reasons. I've heard rumours of a game that is effectively a forum for the Australian masses, I would reach out for this mythological forum game and hopefully it'll fill your void. Perhaps one of the moderators can point you to them... or rename the thread to better aid you. Since you're in Upsidedown land, you need all the help you can get ,)

I originallly joined a couple games 6 months ago but both are run by europeans at around the same time which is 3 AM, In other words I did indeed trt to switch virtual time zones but with life stuff it's hard to do. Thanks anway

But. A game that is a forum to Australian masses? This sounds preposterous insane I say. But I'll rename this quickly just to see ifi maybe a mod can point me to it. Actually never mind I have no idea how to change the post name.

You know I did have a couple ideas for a game.

Changed the title for you, let me know if you want it any different. Also found reference to the following Au/NZ group but it was a couple of years old and I can't seem to access it so maybe it doesn't exist any more, I could find it using the LFG tool either... the same goes for Australia & New Zealand Tavern Raiders Association , maybe you could be the host of a new group for your timezone?? [edit] The tavern raiders association lives on! See Andrew's post below :)
Oh sweet thanks I'll make a group like immediately.

Make sure to create a LFG post for the group and drop a link to that post in this thread so that forum searchers can easily locate the group if they would like to join up.
Tadaaaa https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/51036/oceanic-n... Oceanic Nerds In Need Of Friendship or OnInOf which sounds like On And Off which I thought was kind of cool for no particular reason but there's that. Thanks Ziechael!
