Any way to use dynamic lighting in a game where I'm a Co-GM?

I have a Pro subscription, but the game's creator does not. I wanted to use dynamic lighting during games where I'm going to be GMing since it's a rotating seat thing. Is there no way to do that without also buying the game's creator a subscription?

Correct, the benefits come from the CREATOR of the game and will not be affected by the subscription level of co-GM's sorry
I don't suppose I can transfer characters between this campaign and mine if only one of us is a Pro GM either?

As you have access to the  Character Vault there is no reason why you can't add the characters to your vault and import them into your own game (never tried it to be honest so i'm going to answer this sans mod-hat lol)
You don't need to be the "creator" of the character to import it.  You just have to have access to the sheet within the game. I've a number of interesting characters or fun builds I've asked other players if I could import to have a copy of.  (Which has come in handy before when someone's character journal was accidentally deleted)
I suppose both sheets would need to be kept updated though? They aren't permanently linked, right?

Thats right, they would effectively be two completely separate sheets but there is nothing to stop you moving them backwards and forwards using the vault each time you need to 'update' the other one...
What i would do Alexander, is to simply export as much as possible to a new game you create, vault the chars over and use your game and make your buddy co-GM on that game (if he/she agrees to that). That way the overall quality of the campaign is raised. Might involve a lot of work. But might be worth it.

Another solution... have the players pitch in to pay for a subscription for the DM. That is what we have done and it works out great.
