meta-groups?

Are there any 'meta-groups' about in roll20? I'm sure I've seen groups of LGBT* and Christian gamers trying to gather in such, and was wondering if there was any for such things as time-zone (GMT in my instance)? I ask, because, well, in my experience (elsewhere) and observation (elsewhere and here), setting up a game, then accepting people I have had no experience of before hand into said game, for various reasons seems to be a pretty much certain path to a disappointing time. I'm hoping to get into a position of interacting with people before we even decide which game to play, and getting a good feel for their personalities and our abilities to get on.

Knights of the Written Word is going strong. We are 450 text based gamers strong with multiple recruitments for beginning games and currently active. The only requirement for the group is all games be ran as text, no voice nor camera. If anyone has questions, drop me a pm as I help manage the group.

PUG Lobby is a meta group for people who want to run pickup games on short notice. Great if you aren't ready to commit to a weekly campaign. We're new, so we still need a lot more players.
