no lfp button on dev server campaign page

Need assistance again. I am on the dev server and the LFP button on campaign details page is not there; the page states the system and has a date scheduled. I read the wiki lfg and game management pages, but not helpful. The game is not "public". Any thoughts?

I'm sorry, but there is no option to list Dev games directly on LFP because they are on a different server and we only have the one LFP system. If you would like to find players for this game, you can create and list a game on the main server, then just invite the players you find to your dev game manually. Sorry for the inconvenience.

That seems contradictory; why would I create a game on the main server when I already did all of the work on the dev server and plan on playing on the dev server? I will not make my game public because I made a core rules book through the use of handouts, and will only allow my players see the book because I feel that it would be wrong to share a book for free without compensating the publisher.
What if I put a link to the "campaign details" page in the lfg thread? I think that will have to suffice.
The game on the main server is only a dummy. It's entirely empty, it's just a title, a picture and a LFG description. Once players apply to it, and you decide who you want, instead of to the main server game you invite them to the dev server game. A link to the campaign details page will not work, if the game is private and they're not invited, they'll just get a access denied message. You could post the join link of course, but then everyone can simply join, I would advice against that.
done.

Yeah, just to echo what Quatar said, you don't need to create the full game. You only need a placeholder with all the game meta-data (the name/description/picture...) to put on the LFP list. From there you can invite people manually to your Dev game. Since this issue is now taken care of I'm going to go ahead and close this thread. If you have any other issues please feel free to open a new thread.
