Hello! As the title states I'm looking to join a group for Black Crusade or Dark Heresy 2 as a player . For a little bit about myself, I'm a 33 year old guy living on the east coast of the United States( UTC -5 ). I have a boring old Monday to Friday job working for the government and I typically find myself home by 3:30pm every day. I'd definitely prefer to join a game that is later in the day on Saturdays but week nights are also doable , within reason. Typically as long as we're done by like 10pm , just about any start time is okay with me. I'd like to try and avoid starting games right when I get home as well but I'm not 100% against that either. While on the subject of time, you can expect for me to show up on-time to pretty much every session. Obviously life gets in the way of that from time to time so I can't guarantee perfect attendance. Any sessions that I can't make I'll typically know about well in advance and will absolutely give a heads up. I'm also totally a dog person because by and large cats tend to be jerks. My current dog in a little over a year old, he's a rescue, and he's a mix of german shepard dog and rottweiler. He's an awesome dog but he can be a bit of a knuckle-head at times. I also ride a motorcycle and I love American football. Yes I'm an American citizen and normally I call it football but I understand that Roll20 is a multi-national site and don't want to confuse anyone. As for me as a player, I've been on Roll20 for a little over 4 years now and I've accumulated over 1700 hours thus far. I'd say that 90% of that is time spent playing Pathfinder with the rest of it being divided among some other systems, including Deathwatch. I've played a couple sessions of Black Crusade and I've played one session of Dark Heresy 2 as well. I find that I enjoy the flexibility of Black Crusade and DH2 whereas Deathwatch is a little more rigid in its advancement system than I'd like. I definitely tend to lean a lot more towards the combat side of things but I'm slowly learning to appreciate and kind of nurture my RP side. I do what I can to RP and things like that but eventually I just kind of want to make a decision, roll some dice to see what happens, and move on with the game. I don't expect, or want really, a game where we're pushed from combat to combat. I also don't look forward to games where we routinely sit around talking to NPCs for 4+ hours and are then hand-waved or pushed through combat just so we can go back to talking to the aforementioned NPCs. That's about all I've got for right now. If I sound like a good fit for your group please reply to this thread or hit me with a PM and we'll talk. I also have Skype that we can use to talk but I'm not about to post that info out in the open for everyone to see. Thanks!
