Chat Discrepancy in gave vs. archive D&D 5e Critical hits

I'm seeing a discrepancy in the chat history vs. what actually happened in the game. Had an NPC roll a crit against a PC, the damage was set to auto roll the additional damage. In the chat, the additional critical damage was calculated, but viewing it in the chat history, it's only showing the base damage. Screen caps below show the same event in both places. My questions are: is this a bug, or known expected behavior? Is there some way to correct? Thx

Xristofer, when you say "chat history" are you talking about viewing the chat in the game or are you talking about the external chat log viewed from the game details page?
"Chat history" would be the one from the game details page, or the link at the top of the in-game chat. "Chat" refers to the live in-game portion. The first picture shows the in-game chat, the second shows the full game chat logs available from the game details page. They show the same event as it happened in game, yet one of these things is not like the other.

Thank you for pointing this out, that's a good catch. Have you noticed this behavior before, at all, or is this just a recent thing? Which of your games is this happening in? I want to make a copy of the game so I can use it to try and debug the issue.
