Tokens not retaining attributes when copied.

I actually saw this was an issue someone had 3 years ago and supposedly it was resolved.  If I copy a token with a character sheet assigned and the bars filled the copy will be blank. If just the bars are filled they copy fine. If just the character sheet is assigned it copies fine. I've cleared my browser cache, and attempted on both Firefox and Chrome. 

An update on this issue. I noticed that the tokens I have for my PCs are copying normally. The only difference is in the Bar 1&2 fields I was using custom attributes instead of standard ones from the character sheet. Bar 3 is still from the CS. When I assigned these same attributes to an NPC token it copied normally. So this is a character sheet issue? I'm using the D&D 3.5 sheet, and it's the same for two different games. The tokens that aren't copying properly also don't copy in groups, but do with the custom attributes in Bar 1&2.

I'm having the same problem AND I can't copy and paste groups of tokens all at once.

same problem. having to re-do the party attributes every new maps results in huge lulls in the action. please fix it

You have to make sure you assign the token to the character sheet AFTER setting up the tokens bars and advanced settings.

These aren't new tokens, though it does affect the new ones also. Some of them I've had in use for over 2 years and they always copied normally. I ran a game last Tuesday and copying worked. Something has changed in the last week. I would be interested to know if someone not using the D&D3.5 sheet had the same issue so we could narrow down possible causes.

We are also having this issue for the first time these last few days. I have 40 players and we play 5 + times per week and I haven't changed any tokens. This is a serious glitch in the background Roll20 programming.

Ditto for us tonight. I could not copy more than 2-3 tokens from one sheet to another. These are all old PC tokens tied to their sheets that we've been using forever. However:  this seems to be a clue: it was always the same tokens giving me problems. one token in particular, when i copied it from one sheet to another, on the new sheet it lost its connection to the character. (dragging the character to the sheet worked, i was trying to keep the same status though) certain tokens i could copy from one sheet to another just fine, but not all at once. I could copy the same 3 together. then another I copied from one sheet to another but not with others.  I will copy my campaign so i can provide a link

Joe, or anyone else in this thread who is having this issue: Is this happening to all tokens, or just specific tokens? Please give tell me a game, page, and tokens, specifically, where you are seeing this issue. So I can make a copy of your game and test it out myself to see if I can figure out what the issue is. When it is happening, does it happen 100% of the time, or does it seem to happen randomly? When was the first time you saw this happen, just in the last week or so? Does it only happen when you copy more than one token at a time, or does it also happen for single tokens?

Phil- As mentioned in my second post this is only happening to tokens that have a character sheet assigned and attributes from that character sheet assigned to Bars 1&2. It happens to all tokens like this (and I have a lot) 100% of the time, whether copying a single one or multiple. If copying a group only one copies with no attributes. Tokens with custom attributes (not from the character sheet) assigned to Bars 1&2 copy normally, even in groups.  I had run a game on Tuesday the 5th and it was not an issue. I first noticed this later in the week, maybe Friday the 8th.  Please look into my game "Red Hand of Doom", and the page "Tokens" to see a multitude of tokens with this issue. I will segregate the ones that copy normally at the bottom of the sheet with a box around them and a label. Thanks!

I am having the same problem.  It does not happen every time.  But most of the time.  Out of a party of 11 only one successfully copied and pasted.  Entire blocks of tokens only yields one successful paste and the token loses all characteristics.  I can not edit the pasted tokens either.  Happens with single and multiple tokens copied and pasted to a new map.   Game : The New Lands.  Just seen tonight at the start time for the game.  Successfully moved tokens 2 days ago.

This one's my fault. I introduced this bug when fixing another. The issue should be fixed now, let me know if it's not.

No it is not.  Now all the tokens that I have attempted to move have disappeared from the game map that I copied them from and are no where to be found.  Never mind.  I was able to recover them from another page.

Thank you Steve K.! I was having this same problem with tokens, and I use the 5e shaped character sheets. Your fix is MUCH appreciated!
