Webcam Not Registering

I recently got a webcam for my desktop specifically for roll20 so my friends can see me. It's a pretty nice Logitech USB webcam and it works well for other things like Skype. But whenever I use roll20, it doesn't seem to register that I have a webcam and just shows a black square where I am, instead of the webcam feed. This doesn't happen with other programs and roll20 works fine when I use my laptop that has a built in webcam. I'm not sure how to fix this, if it's even possible. Thoughts?

(Moving this over to Bug Reports & Technical Issues) The first question I have to ask is, do you have others logged into the game when you're testing out your webcam? The A/V systems only start working when you have at least one other person logged in. If the answer to that question was 'yes', now we need to work through Steps 1 through 8 of the Roll20 guide to Audio Visual Troubleshooting : Step 1: Make sure you’re using the most recent version of either Chrome or Firefox Please check if these issues persist when using both Chrome and Firefox. Step 2: Give Roll20 permission to use your microphone and camera Step 3: Make sure Video and Voice are turned on for everyone inside Roll20 Step 4: Clear your Web Browser’s Cache Step 5: Make sure you have the right ports open Step 6: Check if your camera is working with WebRTC Step 7: Check that your camera is functioning Step 8: Do a bandwidth test If none of the above succeeds, please thoroughly work through Step 9 : Step 9: Solving Technical Issues Step 9.2: Ensure that there are no extensions/addons interfering with Roll20 Please disable all add-ons/extensions and anti-virus programs . Step 9.4: Provide a bug report Please ensure that the Console Log is complete. Thank you!

Fleeting, from your description it sounds like your solution may be in the troubleshooting step (from above) of having your browser Select the new camera that you want to use, and give browser permission to use it. It's the step that the Wiki has labeled "AV Select" and leads to a drop-down choice of the webcams you have. Firefox screenshot, https://wiki.roll20.net/File:Firefox_Allow_Deny.pn... Chrome, https://wiki.roll20.net/File:Avt.png
That second one did it, thank you very much! The webpage was trying to use something that was not a camera as my camera.
