Ever played in a group where everyone just seemed to click? Where at least two or three times a night the entire table erupted in laughter? If you have a good sense of humor, are 30 plus (we are an older group) and enjoy story more than rules lawyering, then you'll like playing in Teluria.
The adventure started with a quest for a flying pig for the local wizard, but now it has become evident that the Scaled Ones are massing for another attack from the Marshes of Madness and the Imperium must be warned. With devices from the gnomish inventor extraordinaire Philbert Pinchpenny, and the help of Fornyx the former Lord High Executioner of the Imperial Palace, albeit from 400 years ago, there might still be time to retrieve enough inertium from Falcor's Doom to destroy the evil Lich Baelzator and prevent the second war of the Scaled Ones from over running the Eastern Lands.
We use the Basic Fantasy Role Playing Game rules (basicfantasy.org) an old school revival set of rules but with lots of improvements, not to mention they're free! If you want to read up on what's happened so far, you can check out this thread on the forums there:
