If adventure has an name it's Indiana Jones! Hi folks so i recently acquired a handful pdfs of the old TSR Indiana Jones rpg. (Why yes that infamous TSR Indiana Jones game!) Seeing how I have the pdf supplement to create your own characters, the base game, and one adventure (being a direct one to one adaptation of Raiders of the Lost Ark). I have enough here to run a small adventure. Unless someone else could track down more pdf adventure for me. I was wondering if there was any interest out there for people to make their own adventurers and run yourselves through Raiders of the Lost Ark as if Indiana Jones didn't exist. I have to ask since a lot of Roll20 is basically endless games of D&D or Pathfinder, something that sounds cool to me doesn't always generate interest in Roll20. There's also the added hindrance that this is the rather infamous Indiana Jones TSR system. While I have heard many horror stories about it, I have yet to actually run/play it myself. Just looking through the system at a glance it looks rather heavy on the storytelling on the fly aspect and very light on actual crunch rules. However seeing that storytelling narrative & rules light rpgs are kind of coming back into fashion (FFG's Star Wars, Fate, World of Darkness). I think it might be worth giving a try. ----- While I'm welcoming of new players and in some ways you'd have to be new to give this vague system a try. I'd prefer it if interested parties have at least played one kind of rpg beforehand. Since the last thing I want to do is explain why there's more than 6 sides on our dice while teaching another system on top of that. You may laugh at this but I have gotten some extremely clueless applicants before. If you can abide by this then I welcome you to give it a try and we can work out exact times once enough interest has formed. -Listing your times available would actually be quite helpful and any prior rpg experience If adventure has a name it's [Insert your character name here] !
