Issue with and character saving

Hey i'm creating a custom character sheet and i'm having an issue with my <textarea> not saving specific text to a character. Is there a way that I can have it saved to the specific character like the DnD e5 sheet? Or do I have to make it a text input and somehow alter the size of the box?

Hi Dakota, it may help to post the code that is causing you issues so that the wizards of the character sheet forum can better advise?

If I had to guess, your <textarea> tag is likely missing a name with the appropriate formatting... It should look (at a minimum) something like this: <textarea name='attr_BBOT'></textearea> But as Ziechael said, it usually helps to post the code. Also, when doing that, it also helps if you paste it into a paragraph that is formatted for "code." To do that, in the upper left corner of the Post Reply box you see a little paragraph icon...click that and change it to code and it will format it like my example above.

Hi, thanks guys! Sorry about not posting the code, but seeing as you fixed my problem without needing it, i'd say it was a pretty stupid question. Thanks for helping me out!!! The issue was I didn't have the "name" tag on it. Now I know for future questions to include my lines of code so someone can spot the issue faster
