2 New Players LF GM (3.5 or similar) and 2 players for Noob Campaign (GMT Weeknights)

Two relatively new players with some experience of D&D 3.5 rollplay via Roll20 but lots of Gaming experience (Neverwinter, DDO, etc) We are looking for an entry level campaign to ease us into virtual tabletop gaming and roll play in general. Recently we have been watching a lot of the Rollplay utube show and that is pretty much what we want to play. We need an experienced DM and a couple of like-minded gamers to join us an introductory campaign hopefully choc-full of mobs, pit falls, adventure and, most importantly, fun. And gold. Lots and lots of gold. So any benevolent DMs want to dust off an old D&D campaign? We have a rogue but the other classes are up for grabs. Looking for: 1x GM 2x players We can commit to one or two of these time slots: Monday 6pm to 11pm GMT Tuesday 7pm to 11pm GMT Wednesday 6pm to 11pm GMT Thursday 7pm to 11pm GMT The focus is on fun and sticking it to the NPCs, so please no party-breaking alignments - we can let the DM guide us. :D

Sounds pretty nice since i myself am a "noob" and came here because of the rollplay series. I play my first onetimer this weekend. I would really like to join you guys as a player. Time-wise, monday or tuesday would be best for me, if you play on wednesday i could play but only from 7pm gmt or later and thursday i can't since i have a regular appointment then. Characterwise i'd like to try a monk despite having heard it should be more or less a weak class or a Wizard/Sorcerer. (alignment as it fits the group)

Hey I'd love to join up, I have some experience with pen and paper RPG, never tried this virtual kind thought. The games i've played so far are Starwars: Edge of the Empire, Bushido, Pendragon, Deadlands and a little of DnD 4th ed I am only able to use Ventrilo for communication, currently. Also hey everyone else, thank's for the replies good to see the interest. Once we that GM position locked down we are good to go, as I said before im flexible in what type of ruleset we use. We are just looking to have fun and see new things.

Ronnie playing a Monk is cool for the first levels, it is the higher levels where, in my experience, the class kind of loses out if the other plwyers build their own classes well. Did I understand this right that you are more looking for loot and combat than char play?

We would like to experience a bit of everything I guess. Some roleplay, some combat, some loot... a balanced campaign. However you would class JP's Rollplay show, that looks like fun.

Hey guys, I've been a DM since AD&D 2nd ed, I could be willing to run you through a game, but for general ease with online playing I tend to run pathfinder as all the books are (legally) online, so I would probably prefer to run with that. So if you do need a DM still, then give me a yell either replying to this, or send me a message on my skype which is "yrael-" and we can talk about what you want and what I can do etc. If you've found a DM already and are about to start on your own roleplaying adventure then best of luck to you, and remember, have fun!
