Getting Roll20 voice chat to work

So, I just had to cancel a game because first Discord was not working for half the party. Our backup was Roll20's in-app voice chat software. However a different set of the party (including me) could not broadcast using it. Interestingly, I could broadcast if I connected through my laptop. Anyone have suggestions for getting the roll20 voice app to work for ALL players?

I would suggest that you and your players work through Steps 1 through 8 of the Roll20 guide to Audio Visual Troubleshooting.

If none of the above succeeds, thoroughly work through Step 9:

I think this is due to OpenTok's, our chat provider, servers being overloaded. We've been seeing stability complaints pretty much every weekend for the last month and I'm sorry to say, since it is their system, there's not much we can do about it.

I saw you posted on the Pro forum in the the post. You can copy your game to the dev server and give that a try next time you are having issues.

Yep, I'm excited for the new chat features, and considering how infrequently we run, they may be fully online by the time our next game happens.

Haven't had a chance to get on the computer (my desktop) that was having the issues to run through the troubleshooting, but hopefully in the next couple days.
