Names, so many names...

This is a plea that, since we have atleast 20 new players (and a turnover when some dont sign up, make characters etc.) if people could as much as possible use the same name across the different platforms. When someone needs a character sheet or token added and they have a different name on discord to what they use on Roll20 and then also change their name on the VTT to something else all together it can get very confusing to say the least.

With immediate effect can ALL Players change their Discord or Roll20 names to match each other please! CoGMs; please encourage all players to do this when talking to them or answering questions and senior players the same.
On roll 20 if you are changing your display name to include a character name, please put the character name in brackets after your username so for example; Player A (Aragorn) This is because GMs can search for names when assigning control of tokens and character sheets etc. rather than scrolling through the whole list, but Roll20 only searches from the beginning of the name rather than looking at the whole thing , so if your displayed name is "Frodo (Player F)" putting in "Player F" wouldn't show any results. Also, did you know you can change who you are talking as when using the VTT(Virtual Table Top - the bit you see when you click join game) chat, so that it looks like you're talking as you character? Underneath where you enter text there is a box with your name and an arrow next to the box, click that to talk as any character that has a sheet you control. :)
