browser crashes when i try to group and / or work with tiles together

i am building a world map out of premium tiles i got "old world style maps". after setting the base tiles, when i tryed to group them together the browser got stuck and crashes. i tried using chrome and Firefox browser and the same problem repeated again and again. i also tried to restart my computer  and again the same problem.  after following advice on forum= disabled ad block and flash block apps on chrome (deleted cach as well)  i succedded to group tiles but. it is still very slow to react (when i try to select one tile it "thinks for a minute or so) or crashes again. i am adding the instructions in step 4 as  document on a link please help me with it because it makes building a world map so slow and impossible feat to do.

Hey boaz, sorry you're having some issues with the tokens and thank you for going through all the troubleshooting steps already. We can get right to the real questions: Is this only happening in one game? If so, which of your games is it happening in? If you are able to reproduce this, what are the exact steps I can follow to get this to happen on my end? If you do the same things in a blank game, do you see the same problems? Have you ever seen this happen before, or is this something new?

hi phil,  thanks for the quick response  it happened at "clash in clopa" game i am building i made a "test it" new game and it happened again! the steps i did are: a- i set the scale of the page to km and set it at 100 km per square, left all else the same b- i took 1 "land background tile" from the "old world style map set" and inserted at the middle. then i copied with control+c and pressed control+p a few times. built a 4 tile squire then copied it and pasted and put them together to a bigger 4 times 4 square and so on. moving and adjusting and adding until i cover the whole grid - as i progress the response time gets longer until the page gets totally unresponsive + i get a popup window from chrome that the page is not responding and asking me if i want to wait or kill the page. (before i took the steps it crashed and now it just gets stuck for minutes on end).. wait i was wrong it crashed now as well :( this is about all i did.  and for your last question it's the first time i am trying to build a world map so... ps - the only difference from the new and old game i tried it is that the old one contains many more pages and this new test one contains only 1. hope i gave you the information you need. waiting for your response and further instructions if needed. btw- i can try doing it from a different computer altogether if it helps you to rule out more options

Okay, it looks like it's crashing because of the large number of tokens you are pasting. The browser is struggling to create copies of all of those tokens all at once. If you were to make the tokens slightly larger, even just 2x2 or 3x3, they still make for a good simple background but don't hog nearly as much of the browser's computer resources. Also, if it starts to slow down from the number of tokens you are copying, try doing less tokens at a time and everything should work. This is one of the limitations of the browser, it start to struggle when there are large number of entities on the canvas, especially if your PC isn't super powerful.
ok i will try using bigger backround tiles. i will let you know how it works
